My Thoughts on the Changed Lineup for the New Guardians

DC is using its 0 month next month to reboot the New Guardians somewhat. In terms of the story heading throughout the various Lantern titles (worth mentioning that I dropped Green Lantern Corps) there is some kind of trouble brewing on the horizon as the Guardians of the Universe seek to implement the Third Army and replace the Green Lantern Corps altogether and to remove the need for all of the Corps. The three series that I am reading seem to be progressing slowly towards this. Anyway here are my thoughts, colour by colour as to the changes or non-changes.
Green
Kyle Rayner is staying in as the Green Lantern representative. Although there are other Green Lanterns that I am missing since the new 52 relaunch, I see absolutely no problem with this. Kyle is my favourite human Green Lantern, and really for his publication history, he deserves a place in mainstream DC continuity.
Violet
There is no character that I am more excited to see in this series now than Carol Ferris. I really likes having Fatality in the first twelve issues, but Carol is such a well developed character that leaving her on the sidelines as only Hal's girlfriend wasted enormous potential for her. Plus the costume redesign where it is actually now a costume looks pretty good as well.
Red
In the early days of the new 52, Red Lanterns was among my favourite series as instead of just taking a look at a different Corps in a cosmic setting it examined a lot of interesting concepts like the morality of vengeance. Atrocitus was the star of this and he remains so even as the series devolved into just another cosmic title. Bleez did a decent job for the Corps in the New Guardians, but I think having Atrocitus here will make things a lot more interesting
Yellow
I think Arkillo has worked really well thus far as a member of the group. The Sinestro Corps is the hardest group to handle in a logical way a they are truly villains as opposed to the members of the other Corps. Keeping Arkillo makes sense as they have done the most to establish him as a character with some morality, even when he appeared so evil during some of the crossovers like Sinestro Corps War.
Orange
This is sort of the same concept as the Red Lanterns. Glomulus was a surprisingly endearing character for never really talking and for just being a construct of Larfleeze. Larfleeze on the other hand has proven time and again to be a very entertaining character due to his ridiculous level of greed (for instance being greedy of Santa Claus on one occasion.) Like Red this is an upgrade though I will be sorry to see the old character go.
Indigo
I am not sure at the moment why the Indigo Tribe is not being represented. Likely it has something to do with the Secrets of the Indigo Tribe story arc that took place in Green Lantern. That having been said I think Munk has said less than 50 words in the series thus far, 75% of which were probably Nok. I am sure either that the Indigo can be better used as a plot device or a more personable character.
Blue
This is the one that I am least sure about. I realize that they have developed his friendship with Arkillo to a certain degree, but what I did like about the original group was that there was a decent male to female ratio (5 to 2 is pretty good by comic book team standards). I think really it would bot be a huge loss to not see Saint Walker and instead to see an original female character from the Blue Lanterns.
