@chalkshark: I remember them from the Rann Thanagar series. It was quite good.

@razzatazz: Relatively. I bought the first series, though it's been years since I read it. Their adventures occurred in the Vega system, which is where Starfire's home planet, Tamaran, was located. When Wolfman and Perez began a story arc fleshing out Starfire's back story, the Omega Men were obvious guest stars. With the exception of Lobo, who at the time seemed like a throwaway adversary, none of the characters in the Omega Men ever really caught fire with the fans. Once the book was cancelled, the Omega Men were rarely seen. A few appeared in DC's Invasion mini-series. Seems like they might have guest starred in L.E.G.I.O.N., at some point. Their second coming, as it were, was in the Adam Strange mini-series that directly proceeded the Rann-Thangar mini-series, which, of course, lead into Infinite Crisis. I lost track of them after that. In the "new" 52, who knows if they even exist.

@razzatazz: I meant it in a good way. Eyelashes shouldn't be as long as the nose, but people probably don't think about it too often when they see it. It's cool that you do. Didn't you also do "The Seductive Raising of the Sock?"

The biggest claim to fame the Omega Men have, as a series, is that Lobo debuted in that title. Outside of their encounters with Green Lantern, Superman, and the Teen Titans, they kept to their own corner of the DC Universe.

You notice the minutest things. Kinda cool.
