@bascobmm: he did do a good job didnt he. I suppose he will just need a bigger paycheck if he was to reprise as Drax but it would need to be his Swan song.

I honestly can't think of anyone that can be intimidating, funny and often times stupid to play Drax. I suppose Dwayne Johnson but his ego couldn't tolerate the fact of playing dumb or working with Vin Diesel more than he has to.

If Catherine Zeta Jones was 20 or 25 years younger, she could definitely replace Gamora and give her a more sultry feel.

I once had a dream that Lewis Black and Rocket Raccoon came together. It was hilarious watching Rocket with Lewis' voice just getting angry and making it hilarious but I realize for an MCU film, it would never ever work.

With the success for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and a new roster established at the end of the film, the question remains who will play some of the beloved characters we have come to cherish. Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Bradley Cooper have expressed their final bow from the MCU after the release of Vol. 3. I was shocked that no one got killed off and their stories are left open ended. Drax is a surrogate dad, Gamora is back with the Ravagers and Rocket Raccoon is elected leader of the GOTG. Who can possibly replace them and will fans approve especially after so many people protested not to have anyone replace Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa. Who do you think would be good for the role and why?

@goldeneagle: You make a valid point with Iron Man being the face of MCU and to some extent Captain America was a part of the brand but Thor has kind of trailed off because for one thing he is a god and Captain Marvel helps the entire galaxy so both of them have their hands full. On Earth, Falcon is the new face for Captain America and Ironheart hasn't really stood out yet so you have a point about the MCU missing the glue. Overall, the Avengers are disassembled because everyone is doing their own thing and that might be why people are dissatisfied with the way things are.

@lightordark: You make a valid point with episode. I almost forgot about that episode lol. Well the alternative to what Feige is doing with the MCU, would be what WB did for a while with Batman (Burtonverse). Every three or four years another Bat film would come out of the blue with no post credits from the previous film to hint at the future. However, even that strategy lost its touch with fans especially after Schumacher butchered Batman and Robin.

Could it be argued if the Burtonverse had other heroes like Superman or Wonder Woman involved (based on the CGI back then) that they could have sparked this collusion between heroes long before Marvel ever did but not put so much emphasis on everything coalescing with one another.

@kataraaaa: You certainly nailed it on the head about quality versus quantity. Too much is being rushed but at the same time can anyone do what Peter Jackson did for LOTR or the Hobbit. He had a clear path and from one book to the other with his insight to enhance it and they performed incredibly. Didn't matter how lengthy it was as long as the content was riveting especially in the Hobbit films.

What I'm getting at is Feige established these Phases but he didn't have a bible to chronicle one story after the other while ensuring quality over quantity. This is partly due to Marvel Studios be restrained by the other studios at the time like Universal, 20th Century and Sony.

Feige had to barter with Fox til they burnt the X-Men and FF franchise to the ground despite the potential success from Days of Future Past and Deadpool. Universal finally surrendered Hulk and Namor after being so pigheaded for too long. Sony on the other hand was willing to give up Ghost Rider but wants to milk Spider-Man for all he is worth.

@ganon15: It maybe so that Spider-Man is more exciting to see than most but so far it has a bad track record with its spin offs aside from Venom and Miles Morales. At the same time, they have had to reboot the wall-crawler twice where as someone like Batman has had a decent performing record even though its been rebooted twice as well. The only thing that makes this new Spider-Man franchise enticing to movie goers is we get to have hero collusion. I only wish Hulk had that to make his movies more appealing.

@ganon15: I wonder though if we are feeling superhero fatigue because we are the adults and its the failures that wear us down but for the kids and pre-teens, they love this universe as is but they have yet to share their thoughts to revitalize the MCU's credibility.

@lightordark: Interesting take away from it. For me, I loved and didn't like some parts of both examples you used but how best to address the issue to satisfy the audience.

Should Feige open polls for each proposed project to the public and allow them to vote on ideas that are being considered on a Marvel Studios forum and not reveal the results of the votes until after the film or show is released. I think that would be a revolutionary idea because if the movie or show flops then Feige can throw it back to the audience and say this is what you wanted and I delivered.
