Filming for the Penguin has begun and Clancy Brown has been tagged to play Sal Maroni. Excellent pick but back to the topic at hand, Sofia Falcone will be involved in this little turf war between those who were loyal to Carmine Falcone and those who work for Penguin. More than likely, Sal and Sofia will team up against Oz but how will the story be kept relevant. My theory is the Long Halloween has already begun but it never got noticed because of the Riddler exposing the corruption in Gotham's infrastructure. The first Holiday murder will have already taken place on Halloween night when Mayor Mitchell was murdered but it will involve a mob hit like Johnny Viti or someone else connected to Carmine Falcone. It won't be until a mass gang shootout on Thanksgiving by the Holiday killer that it will gain attention.
Another interesting theory is the twins who work for Penguin. In Dark Victory, Sal Maroni had twin sons Pino and Umberto but while we are on the discussion of Dark Victory, will Sofia take up her mantle as the Hangman by hanging cops who were on Falcone's payroll but failed to protect him from the Batman or Gordon. There is a lot of storytelling that can make this spin off very successful and worthwhile. What do you think?
@ghostodoofus2: I hope this Hellboy will revive the hype. The story itself seems very restricted in regards to the wide variety of characters and monsters that can be used.
@ghostodoofus2: I feel like the Fantastic Four should have been included in this film since Kang and Reed Richards will be related. Disney could cut their losses with an Ant-Man series by introducing Cassie Lang and Tom Foster aka Goliath. Give them an interracial relationship and introduce Eric O'Grady and Atlas.
Plus they need to explain what Mitch Carson did with the Cross Particles. Does HYDRA have the ability to enter the Quantum Realm or size altering spies/ assassins.
@pfcoolio15: Rapping does take effort to rhyme simultaneously without missing a beat but the overall theme with most rap from my standpoint is rape, dealing, stealing, domestic and gang violence.
These are relevant topics that need to end but we don't need it jammed into our ears periodically to the point that it's indulging these behaviors rather than making us vomit at the very idea of it.
The only rap, hip hop or R&B that I find acceptable is the mainstream variety that is utilized in filmmaking like Fast and Furious. I know others will say these rap artists are sellouts with filtered material but their rapping is way more tolerable than the crap I hear on any given day.
@just_sayin: Hulk will gain back his cred once Universal surrenders his distribution rights to Marvel Studios in June 2023 and then we will finally get World War Hulk. Its just a pity that we probably won't see Wolverine vs Hulk on the big screen.
