Legend of Korra is awesome

I like the transition from Aang to Korra. The setting of Republic City kinda has a film noir mystique about it. Things are kinda of set like the America during the early 1900's where crime was rampant and the industry was somewhat booming. Korra is like the Wonder Woman of China but a bit more peppy. Toph's daughter doesn't like the Avatar's presence in Republic City but that might be the pride talking. Aang's son Tenzin is a cool character and his family is fun to watch except for his son who seems to have a few screw looses missing. Its a pity that none of the original young characters could live for the 2nd season. I only saw Katara. Sokka is apparently dead but I'm sure he had a daughter with Suki and she became the new leader of the Kyoshi Warriors. This Amon guy is a real bad ass. He knows Aang's move to cancel out someone's bending chi forever. Something tells me that Amon was a disgraced student of Aang's and his anti-bending movement is all a front for his revenge plot. Korra falls for a guy named Mako (homage to the great Mako who voiced Uncle Iroh). Mako has feelings for Korra but now he has fallen in love with this really hot and sweet rich girl. She doesn't seem like your typical rich girl who wants to change her man so he can fit in with higher society. She is actually very considerate and loving. I just hope she is not too good to be true. Mako also has an upbeat brother named Boalin but he is kinda in the friend zone with Korra. I wish him the best of luck. If there are any Avatar fans out there, I look forward to your views.

I wasn't too keen on the latest episode as it was too packed in a way, there was a lot & I believe too much story development in the episode making it seem too much like needing to rewatch it. All the other episodes were much better as they balanced all the classic Avatar episodes while introducing the new techniques.

The show is way to predictable. You can tell who's bad and who's not right away by the voices they use and character design. The antagonist is a bender trying to stop other benders. Lastly, while Aang and his group were taking on an entire nation and the strongest fire-bender, these guys have to take on some street gang.

You think the council guy is the main antagonist?

@ReVamp: No, Amon was energybending as far as I can tell. Just like Aang did to Ozai.

I think the next episode will be the deciding point on where the story will go.

It's been moving kinda fast for me. I mean she's already fought Amon in like, what - the third episode? The episodes so far are all too crammed with stuff. Kinda disappointing.

You bet it's awesome

It's good, but not as good as the original series so far. I'm waiting for either an episode where they do flash backs, and explain what happened after the GAang (yes, I said GAang, so what?) defeated Ozai in more detail, or the episode where she has to learn more about the spiritual side of Avatar stuff, and Aang comes back like Rokku did for Aang.

I can't wait to see cameos of older characters. We saw Katara in the first episode, Aang and Sokka are dead, and we don't yet know if Toph and Zuko are dead yet.

I like the show a lot but if you watch the previous avater bending was way way waaaaaaaaaay stronger and katara was amazing with water and then you see kora and you are disappointed. if you want to see katara watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bV2MGLNeW8 and see what i mean. :)

It's the supporting characters that are not doing it for me. The original had Bumi, then Toph, Mai and Ty lee and of course the greatest of them all UNCLE MUTHAFKIN IROH. and i don't like the fact that they are getting beat by no name-non-powered thugs.

Well the animation is better then airbender

The story isn't but people give it time.

Amon>fire lord who's motives were to predictable

Were Last airbenders first 5 episodes as good as Kora's???? definitively not. U all are comparing the beginning of Kora to the awesomeness of book 2 and 3 of Last Airbender lets just wait a bit to compare them.

Also Pakku and Bolin are growing on me
