Though he may be a hero sometimes, when he's a villain... he's one of the best.

Because he's so evil, he has it in the title of his name. And he is only SLIGHTLY less powerful than some of the strongest Marvel characters and HE'S GOT HIS OWN COUNTRY! A supervillain with diplomatic immunity.

He went from just an enemy of Hal Jordan to one of the most feared villains in the DC universe... and he's so freakin' good at it.

Enemy of Wolverine and can pretty much take it to all the X-Men by himself. Who's more badass than him? Only the hero he faces all the time.

His sole goal is to take over the universe simply to make it into his image... where everyone is a mindless, choiceless slave what does his bidding. And, in the main continuity, he succeeded. How do you get more evil than that?

This dude usually is weilding the Infinity Gauntlet and has more power than anyone in the Marvel Universe... Scary.

He's a planet eater and, in the movie, started destroying Cybertron, more or less, because it was there. Plus, this one of my sister's favorite of all time and I tend to agree.

Ok, seriously, this guy... what can you say about him? He's hardcore in every sense of the word.

While not necessarily evil, she's as tough as they come. Plus her whole life story makes you feel... kinda sorry for her. Then again, she did nearly kill all the humans on Earth... huh, maybe she is evil.

Like Demona, its sometimes debatable whether Mystique is truly evil... but she is SO GOOD at being a villain.

OK, I know this one is hard to call but if there is one martial artist in the DC Universe that sends shivers down the spines of EVERYBODY, it's Lady, by God, Shiva.

I'm not gonna lie, I have been going back and forth whether not to include Venom. Not because he's not a bonafide villain but because of the person of Eddie Brock. But then I remembered about Scorpion wearing the symbiote now. So, after much deliberation, here he is.

I know this is debatable but he killed his own father. I don't care how twisted his past has been, that was wrong. I have no love or respect for him.

I've always liked the grip of power he's had on Gotham, despite having to deal with superheroes and supervillains.

The original bad-Transformer. While technically not a Decepticon, he was definitely their best example.

Probably the biggest Transformer douche bag ever. Yes, I do know that's a well defended title, mainly because of Starscream.

Okay, here's my defense behind this one: Starscream is a great villain because he gets on EVERYBODY'S nerves. Even Megatron can't stand him and, in fantastic moment in the movie, Galvatron killed him.
"Coronation, Starscream? This is bad comedy." - Galvatron
"Megatron? Is that you?" - Starscream
"Here's a hint." - Galvatron
Galvatron transforms and turns Starscream to dust.
