It's Father's Day now and since my dad isn't here anymore I wanted to do something to remember him. He grew up in comics like me and he always loved one character more than anything else. He Loved Doctor Doom. So I sketched up a Doom for him today and I am going to let my friend ink and color so I don't mess it up. So you get to see my pencils in this one before inks and color. 

I love the history between these 2 so every time I want to do a battle scene they are the first to jump in my head so I had to put it down for a sketch card. I'm nearing 18 sketch cards so once I get to there I'm going to choose which ones to submit to Rittenhouse. Hope you like this, it was fun for me ! 

Since I'm leaving to go see this in about a hour and I have saved this sketch just for today it's now time to post it. The other half of The Brave and The Bold. The Destroyer of the Corps, The 1st Human Green Lantern, Mr. Fearless himself ..... HAAAALLLLLLL JOORRRDDDDAAAANNNNN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Well this is a quick post. It's my anniversary with by better half. Just got in from our night out and I'm tired. Hope you like !

If you follow me on Deviant Art you would have already seen this one posted first thing this morning (and tomorrow's sketch). I had to step away from Marvel for at least 1 day so I keep myself out of a rut. With 10 hours to waste at work I have been roughing out 2 to 3 sketch cards a day and this is one I started yesterday at work and finished late last night to post today. I'm overall happy with this one.  

I really liked this one till I killed it with my inks. I'm really needing to work on my inking. Thats what this is for ...... practice !  

Well I took my wife's advice and restarted the computer and what do you know the scanner started working. So now there is no delay to the Daily Sketch Blog. Today's piece is the finished piece from yesterdays's part 2. I decided to ink and color the Cap cause I really wanted to look the way I wanted it to look. I had a picture in my head of what I wanted and just to make it simple I just did it. The scan still doesn't do it justice.  

I'm not happy with myself for the lack of effort I gave on the last panel of the Iron Man page so I felt like ( for myself and anyone who if following my sketch blog) that I needed to give you something else for today. I actually had something else I was working on but I have hit a wall on it for the time being. I set it aside and drew up something I have had in my head since I started this. I wasn't too fond of it when I first saw it but it has grown on me since then. This is still pencil so you will still see alot of stray pencil marks. I also had to darken the piece to the darkest I can to get everything to show up. I promise it will be alot cleaner when it;s finished. I just haven't decided if I'm going to ink and color or my friend Johnny. Until then I give you Movie Style Captain America.   

I have been chatting with DavidR about the Iron Man pages and I completely forgot he extended the deadline for me so I just threw this together just to finish it for the contest. Not my best stuff but It finishes the storyline. I had 2 more sketches for today but my friend who inks and colors came by my house and wanted a few thing to work on and without thinking I gave him my sketches I was going to post for yesterday and today. And I hadn't scanned them yet so stupid me. I have a couple of sketches I'm working on right now so if I finish one of them I'm going to throw it up so It will look like a better day of production from me.
