Take the Inhumans and build stories around the politico conundrums (ala Game of Thrones/A Song of Fire & Ice) of their society; would make for a really cool show. Runaways seems to be a great fit too. The new Animal Man/Swamp Thing runs would be cool to see on TV.

I can't believe all of the negative comments; it's something different and fun. I'm excited about this book more than any other. I wonder if people had these knee jerk reactions when Allred's X-Force run was revealed? That turned out pretty great, right? I think some reader's need to expand their art style tastes and learn to appreciate the artistic achievement's of someone like Allred. It's not "poor" or "terrible", it's a different style of drawing, it's okay not to like it, but you can't argue that it isn't really well done. Some of the best coloring of Allred's work I've seen.

Does anyone else think that these posters are just "okay"; besides the Shazam print, the minimalist/contemporary approach seems half-way actualized. Maybe it's seeing them altogether at once that isn't doing it for me.

I like it. I think its time to finally retire the old costume. I loved the Bucky version that was introduced a few years ago; I was disappointed to see Rogers revert back to the classic costume after Fear Itself.

Anyone have any suggestions or know of any good deals on figurine cases? Looking to buy one since I've been buying some more elaborate figures I would like to keep safe. Thanks for the help.

Seems cool to me. I could care less about old man Nick Fury. He's boring. If it brings more readers into the comic fold, bring it! More fans, more creations, more art, more cool stuff. It's a great time to be a comic book fan.

@nightwing52: I say we give her a chance until we see the movie. Remember everyone's (including my own) gut reaction to the announcement that Heath Ledger would playing Joker?

I went on Amazon to pre-order some DC hardcovers and noticed I could only pre-order paperbacks for Swamp Thing, Animal Man, but could pre-order hardcovers for the more well known heroes like Batman and Green Lantern. Does anyone know why this is? Has there been any kind of announcement? Kind of disappointing if some of the lesser known titles are getting the "soft" treatment.

"It is our responsibility as the owners of the Tolkien estate to keep our characters fresh. After 75 years, Bilbo Baggins is a classic character whose time has come to tell a thrilling new adventure in the lands of Middle Earth. We sought out the best writers in the industry to build unnecessary and arbitrary mythology on characters and stories that should never be reexamined."
