Hey everyone, Rager here, I'm new to Comic Vine. Been an avid comic geek for the duration of my existence; and my favorite character has always been Carnage!!!
I've read every main story arch Carnage has been in, despite my usual desires for the writers to really let loose with him and throw PG out the window, his latent development has been quite pleasing to me. Now the only exception has been the most recent of events during Minimum Carnage Omega, and the current Superior Carnage.
***SPOILERS***(for those who haven't read Superior Carnage 1,2&3 yet)
What the hell is going on with Carnage being attached to this evil crippled scientist? Part of my enjoyment of him has always been Cletus Kasady as the main host. In Minimum Carnage Omega Cletus effectively becomes lobotomized, now a shell host for the symbiote. When this occurred I was quite shocked, but assumed it was part of a larger scheme to eventually reincorporate Cletus in due time. I wouldn't harbor the idea that the writers intended on actually killing Cletus.
NOW in Superior Carnage we see him still a vegetable!? To make this more crazy the symbiote bonded with the crippled scientist wielding firearms and all. Now don't get me wrong, I will always enjoy Carnage, but I'd feel miserable if they truly canned Cletus Kasady from the books from now on.
What does everyone else think will happen? Through Superior Carnage 4 and 5, and from this point on? Will Cletus Kasady hail a comeback? Or has Carnage just been rewritten forever?
