Anger is a vast ocean, without shoresThe being known as Rage Hard is an alien who has the uncanny ability to feed off of his rage to increase his physical capabilities. Already an incredible threat due to his enormous physical strength, durability, healing, and fighting skill, Rage's anger fuels his strength to undreamed-of heights.
HistoryRage is an alien from an unknown planet. On his home planet, Rage is considered to be very small, almost the equivalent of a midget for his people, even though on Earth he towers over most people at the height of 12 feet. To compensate for his small size and low strength level, Rage, real name Dalin, learned a kind of fighting style focused on striking and dodging, as opposed to the grapple-based wrestling most of his species preferred, and carries this over to his current life.
Selected to be a scout for a map maker, Dalin was sent to a little known galaxy called the Milky Way to map its solar systems. He mapped around a quarter of the galaxy’s solar systems, but en route to the next, he struck his head and became a victim of amnesia. His ship, without an experienced pilot, lost control and landed on Earth, in the deserts of Egypt. Tearing his way free, Dalin was captured by a nearby team of UN agents, and hooked up to a massive device designed to hold metahuman prisoners. It analysed him, and the first words he heard were “it’s a being of pure, unbridled rage.” He replied;
“Rage? I am Rage?” This shocked the UN personnel, as Dalin had been able to incorporate their language by hearing a few words. Over the next few weeks, the map maker was endlessly questioned, unable to answer any questions. The knock on the head had not reduced his mental capacity, but had lowered his recognition of other beings, his capacity to remember names, and his apparent ability to speak in the first person. Following his first words in the UN prison, he spoke exclusively in the third person, referring to himself as Rage.
What follows is a transcript of one of the interrogation sessions;
Present UN interrogator: “Who are you?”
Prisoner ID – Rage: “Rage not know.”
UN interrogator: “Why are you here?”
Rage: “Rage not know.”
UN interrogator: “We found your ship. What weapons does it have? What can it do?”
Rage: (pause) “Ship? Rage…not remember. Why Rage can’t remember?”
UN interrogator: “…”
Rage (loudly): “Why Rage can’t remember?”
UN official : “Calm down!”
Rage: “Tell Rage why Rage can’t remember!”
(Crashing, banging, gunshots, crackling of electricity, loud thump)
UN interrogator: “I guess we should move him to another cell. A tougher cell.”

3 months laterA crashing is heard from Rage’s cell. Agents rush there, guns in hand, some carrying colossal rifles. A green blur shot up the corridor, scattering agents left and right, dragging a few that managed to hit it with stun guns.
Rage could smell fresh air. Get out. I have to get out, I have to get home. He thought, sprinting towards the light, and exerting all the strength he could into a mighty leap that carried him high into the air. When he came down, he looked around and became suddenly aware of something that chilled him to the bone. “This not Rage home. Where Rage home go?” When Rage looked up, even the night sky was different. “Where home sky? Rage not see normal stars, Rage see strange stars.” The state of matters highly confused the green behemoth. “Rage not home…” He spoke slowly. “WHY RAGE NOT HOME?!” The yell was of pure rage, and the giant slammed both fists into the ground, taking his frustration out on the strange landscape, then he stopped, very confused.
“If this not Rage home world…Rage have no way get home. Rage have stay here until Rage can go home. Rage’s family will miss Rage. Maybe they look for Rage. Maybe they look for Rage right now.” Rage leaped away from the scene, and found a quiet place to think. “If Rage looking for someone in strange world, where Rage would start?” He paused for a moment, then thought harder. “Of course! Rage start in place of many people! Lots people there, so person to look for might be there too! Rage family look in many people place. Rage go there.” And so, the gentle giant leaped away, talking to himself.
“Strange world not like home world. Lots of no people places. World seem less strong…Rage almost fly on strange world. Flying fun.” He spoke intrigued and more than a little amused. “Strange world fragile. Easy to break. Rage have be careful not break anything or hurt people.” He frowned. Unlike a lot of his people, Rage was a gentle soul, and never wished to hurt anyone, a contrast to the barbarism of some of his people. “Rage hope Rage family like strange world. Strange world not all bad, but some bad people. Rage wonder if all strange world people bad? Maybe some good people on strange world? Rage hope so.”
PowersEnhanced Strength - Rage's base strength is incredible, being capable of effortlessly benching well in excess of several hundred tons. He has also shown the ability to leap incredible distances, covering many many miles in a single bound.
Enhanced Durability - Bullets are simply deflected by Rage's thick hide, and he can withstand an incredible beating from incredibly strong heroes and villains, as well as withstanding incredibly powerful explosions.
Healing Factor - When Rage is hurt or wounded, his body heals wounds at an incredibly enhanced rate.
Enhanced speed - Rage has incredible speed, capable of running at around a hundred miles an hour, and the ability to snatch rocket propelled grenades out of the air from incredibly close ranges.
Anger Empowerment - The angrier Rage becomes, the stronger, faster, and more durable he becomes. In an enraged state, his healing factor also works faster and more efficiently. The upper limits of this power are unknown
Kinetic energy absorption - Rage has the ability to absorb kinetic energy and translate it into amplified physical stats. It is unclear as to how this works, but it is apparent that the base efficiency of this (capable of improving through concentration), is around 50 percent of the kinetic energy he is struck with.
