Argh, it's frustrating that there's no real standard for how this is supposed to be done. Call me a crazy anal purist, but I feel the main storyline issues should be the only issues that are actually ordered and all of the tie-ins should not even get a number (use zero) as they rarely push the storyline directly but provide extra stories related to the arc or take place during that time. A "zero" or prologue issue should be number 1 like in Blackest Night and epilogue/conclusion issues should be treated the same way.

Of course, in an ideal world, there would simply be a way to mark issues as a tie-in and they would just go into a sub-section of the story arc page. Somebody activate the Captain Cascader signal!

Are tie-ins supposed to be included in a story arc? If so, how is their position in the order determined. I'm trying to polish up the /utopia/39-55905/ page and I'm not sure what the proper protocol is for the tie-ins. Thanks for the help/guidance.
