Don't underestimate Rorschach... As pure detective Holmes is a genius, but he doesn't count at fight level... And pretty the same thing we can tell for Nigma... Now, is true that if you want to stop Rorschach you have to fight him... but I think that the 2 would get him in some trap, before he to understands what's happening .....
Ok, let me try to make a scenario: Rorschach is informed that Marv is a dangerous criminal, responsible for the death of lot of people. Marv, on the other hand, is informed that Rorschach is planning to kill him. The "clash" is inevitable. They have to hunt, to find the adversary, and to own him.
