Face-palming at the Speed of Light 0

What was wrong with this issue of Teen Titans? Might be easier to just slam down the issue and be done with it. Before this review hurtles into a mess of derogatory comments and general depression, let’s list this month’s highlights. Beware, there will be spoilers. Positive- The art is pretty good, as always. Visually, Teen Titans is very nice to look at.- The variant covers for this series have been fantastic of late, so that’s a plus.- We have snippets of Kiran’s past,...

Really...? 5

The Titans' foray through space and time continues; this time, however, they all manage to end up in the same place at the same time - Bart's own timeline. It's been largely unclear throughout the course of the series exactly who or what Bart was back in the day, except that apparently he used to be blond, but considering all the bloody flashbacks and the fact that he was arrested upon arrival, we can assume he was kind of a douche. Beware - Time Travel Changes Your Hair Colour 1

All ye, rejoice! Bunker's back. Sort of. As a result of Johnny Quick twanging on Kid Flash's vibrational frequency and the Titans' getting pulled into an interdimensional wormhole, the team's been getting flung between times and places non-stop. It's a wonder they haven't thrown up yet. Positive- This issue was fun. There's no other word for it. From Bunker and Red Robin's interaction at the start to the rest of the Titans' getting bounced all over history, this issue was an enjoyable one, and i...

And Things Finally Start To Make Sense 0

On two levels, actually. But let's start with the basics.RHaTO's Zero Year tie-in focuses specifically on Jason Todd, which is to be fair, considering Green Arrow just got off the island (and thus no Roy anywhere near the hero business), and Kori's still a slave. And it does a brilliant job of showcasing both Jason's life on the streets and his budding connections with Talia and the All-Caste. Unlike most Zero Year tie-ins that have been released, RHaTO 25 actually manages to add something subst...

Okay, so now we're trying to...? 0

Point of notice, for all those wondering just why Jason's wearing a wizard robe on the cover, I'll say now I have no idea. It's not a thing that happens, so don't get your hopes up.This issue basically covers the end of the skirmish with the Untitled, ambiguous evil devil-demon-god race of doom, at the hands of the League of Assassins. Jason's fighting gods, Roy's crying in his cell with his preboot girlfriend, and Kori is stuck in a mirror. Oh, and Ra's al Ghul shows up. The Good- More League s...
