No comments on issue #2?

I enjoyed it as much as the first. Fun, pulp, cheesecake. All around good times.

Isn't the Batman symbol on his shirt just there because that's the outfit he happened to have found on Kori's ship back in the beginning of the series? If it's a middle-finger to Batman it was Lobdell's choice... not something that happened on the page to make Jason choose it.

ERB's stories are brilliantly fun to read.... Dynamite's interpretations have been hit or miss though. When they stick closely to the original works they're really good. When they stray from the source material the product is really inconsistent.

Interesting... wonder if/how this ties into the Savage Wolverine storyline.

Finally got a chance to read the issue this morning... loved it!

In a word: Fun.

Really loved the pulp-esque feel... Wolverine's melodramatic inner monologue is especially gratifying in it's own way.

And the Shanna cheesecake factor is great fun. I've always been a fan of the "jungle girl" mythos (read lots of ERB) so it's great to have here.

My only complaint: It was over too quick... gotta' wait another month now.

Definitely anxious to read this one... just gotta' find some time to get to my comic shop to pick up my copy.

Pulp is loads of fun. Can't wait.

@BritishMonkey: If you read ERB's original works she was. Everyone on Mars was. The entire society just didn't feel the need to be clothed. People get all in a tizzy over the comics, but in that respect (at least) they are faithful to the century-old source material.

Now, how bad the execution is... that's another story. :(

@NightFang: Sorry, but one look at the art and I couldn't be bothered to actually read the dialogue. In that first couple of panels Dejah Thoris looks like a man/transvestite.
