Oh yeah, I remember that. I didn't really read astonishing but that was one that I did read.

Joss Whedon's run on "Astonishing X-Men" is really awesome! I would definitely check it out! :D

I wouldn't be happy if Marvel rebooted because I loved the stories that were developed with the characters and rebooting them would mean changing their histories.

I actually don't understand some writers. Why aren't there more writers willing to put in a good chunk of their lives to writing something like the X-Men? Claremont did it for 17 years and it is considered the quintessential run. When writers have the time to do long term planning, they can develop the characters much more intimately. You can't get that on a typical comics run, because there is another writer waiting 6 months later to retcon everything the previous writer did just because they want to tell THEIR version of events. It is pretty disrespectful to the hard work and effort that goes into writing these stories.

I agree! I think that the comic industry needs to set a 5-10 year contract with the writers so that way, the writers can tell their stories and still get the characters developed more deeply and the stories would remain consistent with each other instead of having so many different writers giving different interpretations of the stories.

He shouldn't have his transformation capacity limited by this. I believe it's an artistic choice to solidify to the readers, and the ones coming on board his new status, as well possibly a poetic attempt to show the change in his personality, whereas he has become extremely cold and withdrawn into a shell from those around him. Removed from his place in humanity as it were.

That's a good point!

They definitely should have used the rotating cast technique used in Justice League Unlimited--it worked really well! We got stories centered on Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkman, Stargirl, the Legion of Super-Heroes, Hawk and Dove, the Question, the Huntress, Booster Gold, even the Warlord got one.

I agree! I really liked the way that Justice League Unlimited rotated the cast and we were able to see stories from everyone's point of view. Now if only the X-Men comics can do that.

When Colossus became the new Juggernaut, lately we haven't seen him in his human form for awhile now, so does that mean that because he is the new Juggernaut, he no longer can transform into his human form or does he transform into his human form off screen?
