Somewhere Beneath the Desert Sands of New Delphi

An ember of anger lit fire in Jasim Jafir's gut when he viewed the glowing surveillance monitors arrayed before him. "Who are these people?" He uttered talking through the clench of his teeth. "Where did they come from...WHERE!?" The Arabian tongued technician before him gazed at the Muslim jihadist stumbling for words. "I-I can't say..." Jasim's nostrils flared at his discouraging reply. This plan had been meticulously mapped with numerous fail-safes and remembering this advantage the al-Qasim leader nodded. "This only forces our hand to higher extremes." He exhaled a relaxing sigh and set his sand dune eyes on his Muslim Brothers at their computer desk. "Give me identities on all these soon-to-be murdered before I kill them." He made a left about-face and marched for his private office with his conscious rearranging his grand scheme for New Delphi.

"They failed with contempt toward modernity; I'll succeed with embracing and exploiting it" The thirty-two year old Jihadist leader mused standing beside his strongest follower and longtime friend, Hassan Nasser. "Now is the perfect moment to reveal ourselves with haste." The titanium wall the two men faced pulled upward as an amber light poured out at their polished dress shoes. "This city will be ours before morning." Jasim smirked as the amber light spilled over his tailored black dress shirt. "Jaoquin Cruz, is going to help us." The Son of Muhammad gestured with his hand and a man in red armor worn as a symbol of experience stepped into the windowless room. Wispy black hair flowed lightly down his shoulders and his body was slender, but clearly fit taking notice of his runner's stride.

“Your mercenaries have been at peak performance. There isn’t an inch of doubt in your capabilities. But there is a shift in the plans.” Jasim’s bronze visage remained rigid and his gaze lingered intensly on Jaoquin's crimson conceal.

“A shift in plans?” The Spanish mercenary’s husky voice swayed through his crimson mask. “You know the price is raised with addition to our services don’t you?”

“Money is not the issue” Jasim’s eyes broke its unflinching gaze. He saw what the Spanish Mercenary was driving at. “Kill. I want you and your soldiers to kill those Marines along with the civilians trying to stop them. They've become candidates for easy leads to this operation.”

“50,000 euros.” Jaoquin bluntly stated with a Spanish flair. There was no hint of emotion behind his voice and his face was unreadable. If there was a game of chicken being played, Jaoquin rendered it impossible for Jasim to gauge his body language as well; standing straight, rigid and obedient like a sergeant of the Spanish Armada.

“35,000.”Jasim titled his head upward and raised an eyebrow cementing his bold decrease in price, “If you and your men manage to complete this mission with some impressive feat—40,000. Capped..”

Hassan's torso quaked and he heaved out soft laughter, shaking his head at the two men he shared the room with. He cleared his throat to quell his laughter. "Leave their corpses as the example of any future dissenters" Jasim nodded agreeing with his old college friend. "Smear their flesh and blood into the pavement."

"I'll have 50,000 euros by the end of this." Jaoquin nodded and marched out the door to return to New Delphi and to gather and brief his team.

Once Jaoquin was out of sight, Nasser wagged his index finger towards the weapon rack before him. "You tell me these weapons aren't capable of executing the next phase as well as this one, but the test runs say otherwise. Why use the Cazadors?"

"To build a network." Jasim grinned, marveling his self-engineered weapons arrayed before him. "These weapons will make clear the al-Qasim Movement is the supreme Islamic movement."
