@Cody1984 I raise my glass to you, cheers! After reading all the post's I set the record straight... Garth Ennis is one of the most brilliant writers I have ever read. His in depth raw realism is a quailty in the world of comics that should be praised and hailed. In regards to "The Punisher kills the marvel universe"... It was one of the funniest things I have ever read. I trully enjoyed it so, it was great lol. Now... This debate about "if" the punisher could kill all the costume clowns, Its obvious you all are missing the simple truth of that matter. The Main punisher Max series by Garth Ennis is set in the real world, real time, deals with real events, and real problems. Its content actually holds significance. Unlike the childish characters of marvel, which all carry the same stupid idealsim and themes. The truth is Punisher doesnt need to kill any of them... Because Garth Ennis made the most deserved and fantastic move in all marvel history. He out right erased them from existence. Outragous characters that have god like powers and wear rainbow colored gimp suits do NOT belong with a serious character that actually feels real. The punisher is dark, cunning, methodical, hurt, tough, skilled, human.... REAL! His stories touch on subjects such as the slave trade and government operation's... Ennis Also wonderfully conveys forms of deep psychological damage. A Punisher comic is some REAL reading, not some kiddy book about a bug kid or a huge green idiot.... In the end most other characters fall so far from having any vaule that they do even deserve to be exist. Nothing more needs to be said...
