@Kairan1979: 8. I like how the made him more Lex Luthor these days, not a bad direction. I also love the control he has over the populace's perceptions of the worlds heroes, making him a very powerful villain that you can't just beat up to truly defeat.

Lord Raptor/Zabel and Hsien-Ko.

I hate how Morrigan is basically the mascot of the series, and Felicia is just as annoying. They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't overshadow the rest of the cast. They're boring characters that only have fans just because they exist mostly for male gaze. No one cares about the rest of the cast.

@Vance Astro: Don't take this the wrong way, but if you can say that, you must not know what a black person looks like. There's alot more to racial features than just skin color. It's nice and all to say "you don't see race" or whatever. But if you ask me, it's just denial.  And saying "It's not easy to distinguish race in art." is ridiculous. If you can usually distinguish these types of things in reality, then the same applies to adequate artwork. Have you ever considered that most of the artists you look at are only good at drawing one race?
I never said I don't see race or anything like that. You can't even see Storm's whole face.To me from that picture she looks black.I'm black.I lived with my mother and my sister who are black women nearly my entire life.So I know very well what a black person and especially a black woman looks like.I know that there are facial features that are involved in making a character appear black..which is why I started my post by saying "it's hard to distinguish race in art".I'm not saying something random in my post I'm saying this from experience. The artists I look at? What is that supposed to mean? I am a comic reader.I am exposed to artwork of dozens of different artists a week.."The artist I look at" make up the bulk of the entire comic industry.
There's the root of the problem. If you think it's hard to distinguish race, it's the fault of the individual artist. All representational art takes from reality, even the cartoony and stylized stuff.

If it's hard to tell race it could be the result of one of many things: They don't know how to do it well, they could fear some kind of backlash for making them distinct, or maybe they aren't allowed to (I seriously doubt that one, but whatever). One thing it ISN'T is due to being a drawing.

And when I said "the artists you look at" it's exactly what it sounds like. If you can say something so absolutely, you clearly haven't seen an artist that has.

I do think I'll check out the Jonah Hex one.

I don't know who Grifter is, but he reminds me of the groan-worthy early Image stuff from Leifeild and friends.

EDIT: Yep, Jim Lee made him.

Wow, he couldn't bother to use a black woman for Storm?

Maybe this comes from my own ignorance, given I don't actually read X-Men, but from what I've seen even the good artists are more likely to make Storm look Indian at best or Caucasian in heavy make up at worse as opposed to an actual African woman. I'm not trying to imply anything, it's just an observation.

I very much enjoyed the fun personality he brought to the mantle and the dynamic he had with Damian. I'm gonna miss it.

I don't normally read Marvel. But when I do, it's Spider-Man.

This is always hilarious to hear. Explain yourself.

If it was a contradiction to what Batman stood for, you'd have to say the same for each Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman, Nightwing, Oracle, and everyone else that's popped up in the last 70 years.
