Yeah, i've liked the Marvel Reboots. I dont think people thought The 2nd Hulk would go accordign to plan but it was AWESOME.

What i wish is that they'd take that example. Scrap that X-men Origins, Wolverine crap, scrap the continuum of which they sucked @ X3 and just start with the basics.
Give me Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Marvel Girl and Angel. give me the Brotherhood of mutants, Magneto, Mastermind, Quicksilver, A smexy Scarlet Witch, and Toady, and i'd be extremely pleased. If they go off on some tangent and wreck the mythos for me, i swear i'll skip it like i did Origins, i'm not paying for that trash :(

" Why would he not be able to move? Maybe I'm reading the thread wrong but it seems that the maker is suggesting that instead of the organic steel, Colossus would transform into organic adamantium. Therefore, he would be able to do whatever he was able to before. If this is an correct assessment, then Colossus would be stronger and more durable than Ultron being that he would be solid. But this doesn't mean he can't be made immobile. For example if someone stronger smashing him with more weight than he can lift. "

There is no such thing in the M.U.. Adamantium is very well documented to be a man made alloy. Once it has hardened, that's it. It does not bend or flex.  He would not be able to move as he does now. His joint construction would have to be completely different, and even if he could move there is no way he would be as agile.  Also, Colossus is class 100 strength, meaning only guys like the Hulk, Thor, and the cosmic level characters would be able to do him any damage.  (And Magneto of course.)  Actually, come to think of it, that is pretty much the only characters who can hurt him already. So what would be the point of making him adamantium? "

That's what i was thinking lol. I think if they made him Adamantium. I'd love to see him fight the Effin Hulk. I think he'd be able to smash on just about anybody. As it stands though, every setgroup of people in Marvel Lore pretty much as a strong man. Colossus is the ultimate X-man strongman. Nobody really matches up with him strength for strength, skill for skill.

He's already a noted beast, short of just a few title characters and people the X-men were never concieved to have to face off against. But when you put him against people from like, Spidey's rogues gallery, or Daredevil, or even some of the 4's. He could stand up and kick Rhino's ass without breaking a sweat, or take out Scorpion. He's damn near indestructable as it is.

According to the Marvel site it's self on the power grid. Colo is a 7, and Thing is a 6. Personally though, i do feel Colo is stronger, all thigns taken into account. Colossus' entire insides, just like the Thing, is made of what's on the outside too, there's really not much difference between the two besides Height. The Thing is 6'0 500 pounds, Colo is 7'5 500, for whatever that's worth.

Also for what it's worth, if it degenerated to a fight between the two. Thing is a brawler, but he's very loose and does his own thing. Colossus has had training with Cyclops and Wolverine in hand to hand combat, and acrobatics from Nightcrawler. If we're talking strength for strength in a straight up brawl? I might've said Ben could hold his own. But Colossus has way more in his repetoire than that, and that's gotta be overwhelming.

One more reinforcement is that even Red Hulk said Colossus would be a match for his Green Hulk incarnation right before he defeated him. That's gotta count for something, unless you're someone still stuck in the 80's.
