I didn't see this posted anywhere, but here are the comic sales from last month. Storm #1 came in at #46 with 47,566 estimated sales. Not sure if that is good or bad in comic terms, but as far as I am concerned, that it pretty darn good and pleasantly surprising. Looking forward to see how Storm #2 does!! *high fives all that bought the comic*
Right guys!^^^ I was surprised. I think she is getting a grasp on the character (too bad it's her last time playing the role and she dies.) But yes-- Halle has come a long way since X-men (The First Film)
Spoiler below...
She dies in the future, (just as in the trailer) but once the future is changed, she is alive. So no worries. :D
Also, might I add that Halle Berry was great as Storm. Even my brother, who never liked her as Storm, admitted that she did a good job.
Why didn't she summon dozens of tornadoes as well?
I don't know, but I will say that her death was amazingly done. It really hit you hard and they really showed the impact when she did. Not only is she stabbed, but the sentinel immediately slings her off the cliff and we get a slow motion scene with her body falling. It was very well done and surprised how much of a good job they had done with it. Of course, other X-Men like Colossus, Blink, Iceman etc had even big more mouth dropping deaths.
Lol indeed. The ending was very beautiful. I shed a tear or two (Especially seeing Kelsey Grammar as Beast, and the return of Jean and Cyclops. Storm was there as well showing some students around the mansion.). Many pleasant surprises.
