Digital comics!

So I've been tight on money for the past few months and I was wondering if digital is in anyway cheaper? or if anyone out there has been reading digital what are the main advantages/disadvantages because I'm not gonna lie I'm gonna miss having a comic in my hands, so your opinions please?
