Anybody that reads Morning Glories knows about this spectral figure who appears in the very first issue and kills his victims in an especially gory fashion and is called "David" by Zoe. In one of the most recent issues, issue 17 to be exact , Mr. Gribbs introduces him as Abraham's son. Now this is intriguing because it's already been revealed to us that Ike is Abraham's son. So, I was just wondering what you guys thought about this development.? Do you think he's a future version of Ike, another child of Abraham that was twisted by the Academy, or do you think Mr. Gribbs is lying? Share your thoughts below.
@desmond006: Thanks, but I still enjoy the angle Jason Aaron is playing right now where the Hulk has to investigate what Banner has been doing when he wasn't angry.
1. I'd like her to develop fully into three dimensional character. I loved what Majorie Liu did with her in her series. There was a scene where Laura asked a hotdog vendor if he would add (forgot the name of the topping or condiment) and when she went shopping with Jubilee where she disliked the clothes the vampire picked for her stating, "This is not me." Yet, another scene was when she ambushed a group of pirates and used nonlethal tactics to disable them instead of popping her claws and gutting them. These things may seem pointless but they show her developing into her own woman.
2. Her own solo series would be good until she finds her place in the world. After that I think it would be good for her to try and live a normal life away from the hustle and bustle of heroeing.
3. This is kinda of contradictory, but I think she should be the leader of something. A team, organization, or the like as that would cause her to leave her comfort zone and interact with others and force her to learn about other people in order to function as a competent leader.
I can't really say insofar as his comparison to Deathstroke, but he is very intelligent when it comes to planning out his fights. In the Wolverine: Origins arc he was able to anticipate Logan's movements to such a degree as to appear choreographed. He was able to maneuver Logan into position at the exact moment he paid a construction worker to drop a piano, he planted a bomb in a roasted duck and had it delivered to Logan as he was about to eat, he even fooled Logan into saving an innocent baby only for the infant to be revealed to be, you guessed it, another bomb. In addition he was the "mastermind" behind a plan that managed to deceive Romulous and eventually lead to his defeat. He even was able to defeat Wolverine albeit Wolverine admits that he lost to lure Daken out.
@TheAcidSkull: For some reason I think Banner should work with S.H.I.E.L.D. They could use Banners intelligence to solve the world's problems from a scientific standpoint and bring in the Hulk when something needs smashing.
I think he should return. He could be brought back not in opposition to Wolverine though, but as someone trying to find his own place in the world. I would personally like Sabretooth to find a way to him and attempt to influence him over to the "dark side" as a way to spite Logan. Naturally, he would interact with Logan and Laura, but he should have his own supporting cast.
@JimmyOlsen1: How do you translate the different personalities of these characters onto paper and make it so that they are their own unique people and not faceless mannequins or over-exaggerated stereotypes of like the antihero or over-sexualized vixen?
