The cannon thread never said "Hey guys! Theres this really cool RP going on that you should go participate in!" It was helpful without a doubt but although I mentioned this newscast thing helping with canon I was thinking it to be more on current events.
There isn't a bulletin board/news alert thread right now, and we really need one. Although it may not be too hard to search through the many RP section pages info it certainly would be convenient to have one thread where all the new events, new potential roleplays, and updates with characters and places were presented right? Imagine a place where you could find out where all the new crazy, awesome events are going on such as an attack on Gothic City or a war between Warsman and a neighboring country, or perhaps an influential character in the CVnU or vanilla CV universe has recently died in a battle with an intergalactic overlord. All these happenings could go largely unnoticed therefore making it hard for everyone to get a grasp on the full canon of their RolePlay universe. This newscast of sorts could be put to use in an RP friendly thread but I think a sort of OOC thread would be needed to encompass both the original CV universe and it's younger CVnU sibling. I say we all discuss this in the comments section and try to create a plan for this news thread ^_^
@AmazingAngel: Finally the light died and the floating Angel touched solid ground once more. His insides healing but his power drained. Wait, but were was his adversary? Where was the ember hurling jacka**? The only trace of the man was a small streak of ash left were Prometheus once stood.

Hello writers! I come from a mystical play pretend land called the "RP Section"! I've come here because believe it or not I like to write stories too, just i'm used to playing a specific character. Either this is due to my general laziness or my lack of actual talent and motivation to write an entire roster of characters >_>. Whatever the case may be I actually did "try" to get involved with the Fan-Fiction section but while writing my terrible Hellblazer series I gained inspiration and quickly dashed back to the RP section to share my ideas! Actually I just got in over my head for a first attempt and got overwhelmed, I get overwhelmed way too easily. ANY WHO I guess I should get down to business with my new and possibly final Fan-Fic endeavor!
Basically I want an animated Batman TV show on Adult Swim that doesn't suck. Of course no right minded producer would go for this (although they tried with the less brooding characters from the X-Men) so I created a layout for my own series that would never get published ^.^ leaving me to share it on here in Fan-Fic form with my fellow writers. Although I will never compare myself to you, my superiors... I plan on writing the first "episode" tonight! So please criticize my work so I don't humiliate myself too much when I start posting :D. "Finally! Now maybe I can do some damage!" Thought Prometheus, for the time it took for the Angel to pull his trigger he was roasting from the inside out. "Mmm smells like lobster!" remarked Percy, feeling a tinge of accomplishment as he turned up the heat to try and defeat his enemies healing factor.
@AmazingAngel: "Cute." chuckled Percy. Finally he felt like he had a chance as the force of the wave threw him on his back and sliding away. The once molten hot chain crumbled to ash as Prometheus jumped to his feet. With a fire burning in his eyes his drenched body heated up to incredible temperatures. Steam rising from the ember weaver a look came across the Angel's face, surprise? Prometheus phased into his cloud form and a tempest of sparks and black smoke rushed towards the hero smashing into his chest when quickly it reformed. Hands pressed firmly against the Angel, Percy's fingers and palms become the heat of pure plasma as he tried to burn the hero's internal organs (If he had any.)
@AmazingAngel: Percy gets to his feet wobbling on his unnatural feeling leg. Spitting the lingering blood onto the ground a grim bloody toothed smile comes to his face. "You know i'm not gonna give up that easy buddy. If I learned to stop playing with fire, I wouldn't be here in the first place." Prometheus whipped his hand out leaving a trail of fire and smoke as the chains around his wrist rapidly expanded and launched towards the Angel's unsuspecting throat.
