@ssj3gohan007: Yep, before watching the series, I always thought it was a bad dbz ripoff from the action videos. But well, the first episode made it quite clear that they weren't anything similar at all..
I am happy with it being short though. The ending with yomi beating yusuke was genius, and completely different from other series where the hero always wins. The series was brilliant, and stretching things generally make them boring. (Look at fma. Or first half of DBZ for the matter.)
You make a good point, if not a great one.
In Hikaru No Go, for example, the hero lost in the end too. That series is brilliant as well. Did you ever see it?
nope. I'm more into reading books than comics/manga..
What kind of books? What's your favorite book?
The Lord of the Rings should be fairly obvious from my username :)
But other than that, I've read most of the major famous series (except percy Jackson, and Eragon after part 2. And Star wars for that matter)..
Dan Brown, Harry Potter, and so on.. Can't sit still if there is unread book around lol, I've read twilight, and even calculus book because I was bored :)
@reikai: Still, a jinchuriki is several dozen times more powerful than kenpachi.. and kisame converted one back to form 1 with a single slash. I don't think kisame is a good match for someone who relies on sheer power, and no hax...
Nah, the girls are wearing clothes called Kamui. It grants them super strenght, speed etc.
Seriously, how am I supposed to pay attention to the fight lol
But from what I saw, they could only match standard ichigo and sealed cifer. (sealed cifer was quite strong actually if you rewatch the fight) And his resurrection was crazy..

@retconcrisis: I hope you literally burned them at the stake
I've even met people who thought Raditz and Piccolo from Saiyan Saga DBZ could beat Superman because his Special Beam Cannon was stated to be "faster than light"... I'm a bit of a DBZ fanboy, but seriously... I guess I just like Supes more.
I think they have only seen Jlu lol. And that superman vs nuke is... T.T
