Instead, this guy used a combination of his fist and anything else he could get his hands on to kill the person who killed his child.  Manslaughter  And he obviously didnt mean for her to die. Nothing was premeditated

He beat her to death with a flashlight.  I think he should say it was an accident and that he didn't mean for her to die.

LOL. What even...  This is Second Degree murder, he beat her with the intent of killing her. Manslaughter is for those of who aren't fully aware of what they're doing, which would make it a wholly passionate. They're similar but not the same.

He only hit her 7 times. How'd he know she'd die so quickly? And he could argue it wasn't intent to kill, just to hurt her for killing their son and possibly his daughter.

He could, I'm not saying he can't. Nor do I care whether he does or not. I'm explaining why he was charged with what he was charged with. I don't care how much time he gets as long as he gets enough time for the crime he committed.   I also think that saying "whoops, I didn't mean to kill her" is going to get it reduced from second degree murder to voluntary manslaughter. It also sounds dumb, because if you bludgeon someone with a flashlight it's safe to say you're intent on killing them.

Once again you make the assumption I am female. Are you being witty? Or do you think you are? Also you are making a generalization and judgement that is brought about by an opinion? I find this hypocritical but anticipated to your initial post on this thread. You do the same thing. You have no logic to any of your bases merely opinions and perceptions that you force/twist into being a reality. Though realities that are twisted to such a level only exist to one individual (in this case you).
