^ this is because Gotenks used it more of a technique than a legitimate transformation. He didn't ever achieve ssj2 and forced ssj3 out unnaturally by simpily powering up. Goku told Gohan during training once that that isn't the way to transform. I think we see the true difference between a true transformation and a power up through this example.

THE GOKU VS SUPERMAN CRISIS
Keep in mind power levels aren't the only thing that play a big role in the outcome of battle.
I'm not planning on doing one for current Superman since that position changes on a regular basis. However I will give my veiw on the Superman vs Goku issue.
I believe Goku has amazing fighting capability,dedication,techniques,and destructive capability( via Ki blasts)
However I do believe he lacks the physical fighting prowess of Superman and other comic heros.
Superman displayed superior: Physical Strength,general intelligence, travel speed,durability,most likely combat speed, and other things along those lines.
I believe Superman say All star Superman,due to these advantages, could defeat any version of Goku even after 100 years,however I believe later versions of Goku such as the one 100 years after Gt could also defeat this particular Superman or weaker versions with a good technique such as destructo disc. I think Superman would have trouble tanking a ki blast from a Goku of that level power.
MY VEIW
IF GT was more consistant. Then Superman vs SSJ4 Goku wouldn't be such a pain in the backside to debate.They vastly scaled up the characters powers,however many feats seemed less impressive. Base Goku blowing up a small unstable dimension,then SSJ4 Goku being in total awe of Omega Shenron destroying a city. That right there is the butt of Gt's ability to keep things consistant.
Funny thing is Nappa did the same thing,even in GT after coming back from Hell. NAPPA did this. Now a villain who threatens to eventaully destroy the universe impresses te great ssj4 Goku by preforming a Nappa level feat?
Despite my distaste for GT I am aware that they also showed high end feats Z characters wouldn't be capable of and they did power scale,so in order to provide to most accurate power levels possible,I assure you I never let my own bias get in the way of the way I veiw a character's ability.
This applies to everything.
Keep in mind GT and all movies are completely non-canon to the dragonball franchise. I don't think any canon version of Goku would stand a good chance against most comic book incarnations of Superman.

This is not a complete list,since I sold my issues a while back I'm just going to do what I remember and get the order characters off of a respect thread...keep in mind this is BY FAR my favorite issue and I've know it for a long time,so don't think I'm just pulling numbers out of thin air.
These opinions were formed after considering multiple veiws points and are my personal belief if you do not agree, with me I'm willing to listen. But keep in mind I've talked over the matter with comicvine's very best debaters in the past and we eventually agreed that since many of these high end powers can't be accurately evaluated without the say of the company itself, we can only rely on how certain feats or lower showings were interpreted.
Some argue the LT is vastly more powerful than Pre Retcon Molecule man,however I disagree. Very few people believe Pre Retcon Beyonder is omnipotent, but I find this is generally due to the role of the being. Omnipotent beings usually are displayed as passive a mysterious,not the main character of the series. Another HUGE factor was the interpretation of the actions, I've always FIRMLY believed that showings of anything less than true omnipotence from Pre Retcon Beyonder were due to the intention of self restraint in order to have a more interesting experience in the multiverse. Pretty much everyone disagrees with me there.
So here's my opinion which I believe should hold some validity due to the fact I take this especially seriously,and wouldn't try to slack off even the slightest bit. When it comes to fiction this series is my pride and joy..(considering I'm the main character ;p ) but anyway how I don't have it memorized by panel is beyond me.( Get it Beyond? You can't really get more evil than suffering for eternity that only makes you feel worse,even holocaust victims got used to that way of life for the time they were imprisoned. But this,can't really be topped =/

well, from what i've seen i don't know TOO much about Klaus yet..but Edward vs Elijah would be MUCH closer, since Elijah can compel other vampires, it could negate Edward's telepathy..they are about equal in strength and speed, but i think Elijah would win since he has much more experience
I'd agree on that one,is there anyway twilight vampires could actually kill Elijah without the ancient white oak ash silver dagger?
Originals only seem to have two weaknesses, and one for Klaus,since he's a hybrid or werepire as I like to call it.
