My thoughts are, and I'm not sure if this is true, that his absorption of Yellow Solar Energy acts as a reserve power source for his body, meaning that he does not need to store fat cells. A 0% body fat level, mixed with ridiculously dense muscle structure, would make him look muscular

This...or P90X

Maybe this is exactly what Action Comics needs, someone to "ground" the series. It's just my opinion but I was getting really annoyed with a few of the more Sci-Fi elements that Morrison was introducing, ie. issue #9, the anti-Superman army, and the ending of #12 (specifically having to remember more names like mxyzptlk)

This criticism always puzzles me. Superman's origin is sort of steeped in Science Fiction. I mean he's an alien who has superpowers thanks to a wacky bit of psuedo-science. The whole concept isn't "grounded" in and of itself. Shouldn't that open the plots up to limitless planes of speculative fiction? I guess you like what you like, but that's always been half the fun of Superman for me.

That's a good point, but despite his sci-fi origin I always felt like Supes was one of the most grounded superheroes around due to his parents, wife (now crush), and friends. I suppose I've always preferred stories that focus more on the Clark Kent side of Superman, rather then focussing on the Alien side of him.

Fair enough. Everyone has their personal preferences. Just out of curiosity, what specific Superman stories fill this more grounded quota for you?

I really liked Superman For All Seasons.

I still don't understand why Bruce doesn't wear the Insider suit (a bat logoed version of it anyway) anymore. The more clunky suits I can understand because they don't exactly appear very stealthy.

It's probably not a good idea to take someone who you once adopted and who knows your secret identity and then put them into the system.

No, his current costume is fine and looks pretty realistic enough to fit in with the rest of new costumes for the DC reboot.
LOL, what are the odds of you being the only guy who replied? xD Yeah, pretty much that, his costume is pretty brilliant as it is. Possibly my favourite Robin costume, it's a toss up between this and Tim.

Jason Todd's new 52 costume is pretty high up there as well.

I think he's trying, but it's kinda hard to be a good father when you've never had an example of a father (good or bad).

Normally I'd say Jim Lee, but I'm quickly being converted to Kenneth Rocafort.

Kryptonian flu would probably just make him stronger. Who'd wanna face his super breath while he's sneezing.
