How would you guys rate Fastlane overall? I work early mornings so i watch PPVs on the network the day after. I know Smackdown has been lackluster the past few weeks and i'm trying to decide if it's worth my time.
I hope they don't go with AJ vs. Cena vs. Nakamura like how Cena suggested in his promo last monday. I could see them doing it so Cena could break the fake Flair world title record.
@darthphoenix: Nah, she has just gotten into a serious leader mode now, similar to how Scott acts when he is in leader mode. To be quite honest, I was kind of hoping for a power struggle between Teen Cyke and Jean, but this works just as well with Kitty’s history of mentoring the O5 and with Kitty trying to fill in the shoes of a leader.
thats one of the biggest let downs as far as tyke goes, he just rolled over and let them push him out of leadership when he is especially at that age the most qualified but whatever lol
So disappointed with Tyke as well. I guess after the Champions choose a novice for their leader over him be basically said screw it.
New Mutants. Depends on which mutants they use though. They haven't had enough time with the new cast to do Dark Phoenix. They haven't even explained if this new Phoenix is a cosmic deity or just Super Jean. I have no doubts that Deadpool 2 will be amazing but i'm more excited about the potential New Mutants has.
I agree with this, even though I hate how Banshee was written out of the lineup haha. "Iconic" is hard to define, though - I grew up with the '90s/Jim Lee X-Men but the stories/lineup I remember from childhood featured the lineup below. To this day, almost every quintessential element of an X-Men team is basically in this lineup (sans Colossus, I guess) whereas there were a lot of throwaway members of the '90s lineup that do not necessarily jump to the forefront of my thoughts as necessary X-Men.
@ursaber: Invincible is one of my current favs. I was looking at all the X-Men previews and i just have no interest in them. Aaron made me dislike most of the Gold team when they were constantly trash talking Cyke and if they change for the better i might pick it up in trades. I'll pick up Generations for Adult Jean just to see what her reaction will be when she learns Adult Cyke is dead.
