I think Admiral Ackbar would be the best lecturer. Who doesn't want to learn all about traps?

World domination has always been an ambition of mine and taking over Mars would be a great first step.

So here's the plan: 1) Take over Mars. 2) Combine technology from Mars with tech from Earth. 3) Return to earth with an army of angry martians. 4) Sit on a beach somewhere, since I'll own all of them, sip some sort of fruity cocktail with a little umbrella through a curly straw, and watch the sun set over my ocean.

I read somewhere recently (I don't think it was on ComicVine) that JMS is stopping his work on monthly titles to write the sequel to Superman Earth One. The article made it sound like that someone else would be finishing the stories JMS had planned, but that might bring about enough of a chance to make the book better, or DC could use it to change things all together, depending on what sales have been like for this new run. So, at least something will be changing in the coming months, hopefully for the best.

From Marvel's perspective, this is a great idea. It'll pull in more comic readers that have just seen the movies and then they will start reading more comics.  Once they start reading these books, they'll start reading other things.

More readers mean better profits for Marvel (and any other publisher these people eventually pick up). Better profits mean that less titles will hopefully be cancelled and the publishers can keep their prices down.

If you have an issue with Marvel having another universe, don't read them.

i'm not so sure about this.

on screen, black mask is going to look a lot like red skull and it might confuse non-comic fans (i know there is a color difference but both of them look like skulls). they will think that either marvel is copying dc or the other way around, depending on the release dates for cap and batman 3. if average people start thinking that these ideas and visuals are constantly being reused by different companies, they'll feel shafted and stop going to see comic movies.

@goldenkey: because you can't drop the f-bomb (especially when used the way they use it) in a trailer that unless its running in front of an r-rated movie.  r-rated trailers get red screens in front of them, whereas other trailers all have green in front of them because they are approved for all audiences.
