Batman would take out anyone with enough prep time. Doesn't matter if they're smarter or not. He's crafty and he thinks outside the box. And besides, these "evil geniuses" fall because of their ego anyway. Batman always finds a way. He doesn't know how to fail. The guilt he feels from the death of his parents and the obligation he feels to defend the innocent drive him to succeed every time.
