Kisame.

Yeah maybe add Aang to her side but still kisame is extremely skilled

Undoubtedly, the man is probably one of the strongest characters in the series that is not housed with a jinchuuriki, kekkei genkai, curse mark etc. But Katara is no slouch either, I think one of her biggest strengths in this match is her ability to change the form of water. We've seen her create ice barriers, turn bodies of water into mist, create tidal waves and interchangeably switch them up. She could try and encase Kisame in ice but how long until he bursts out. She'd have to continuously add layer upon layer like she did to Zuko but with a much more menacing intent since that feat was at the end of book one.

it would take him seconds to break out honestly

Probably, I think her biggest concern is the speed and impact of his nature transformation when turning his chakra into sharks. They don't appear to exist in her universe, but then again she went up against a Onagi with the aid of Aang. Even then, she put in a fair share of combat.

tenten gg

xD

Holy crap, what arc was this? I'm only asking because I stopped watching at the declaration of the 4th shinobi war. Then started from the beginning with the series and I'm currently at episode 45 pre-shippuden.

Even if you forget the fact Tenten is the worst Naruto character.. she still gets stomped.. Look at it from a common sense POV.. The Location + Tentens weapons + Master Metal Bender and Earth Bending = Bye bye Tenten.

Oh how we forget Pre-Shippuden Sakura but I digress lol, I don't believe it's a stomp but Lin does however get a bigger winning rate than Tenten. I'd say:

  • Lin 6/10
  • Tenten 4/10

Guys, but she fights with the speed of a conscious thought. She could even suck the air out of the lungs of characters like Thanos, Zues and Galactus simultaneously. Call down lightning to open dimensional tears in time and space, manipulate medichlorians, transfer her essence to other beings if her original body is destroyed.

@phylos: i definitely think it would be a great battle to watch, and tenten could do some damage and get some wins, but especially with the setting, i think it's going in lins favor, tentens a great fighter and thinks quick on her feet, but there is a reason Lin is the Chief of the metalbending police(i do wonder how good she is at earthbending(probably amazing))

Her earthbending skill is about a rank below her ability to manipulate metal, although I am speaking from what I've seen of the first book of Korra, have not started book two yet. I am somewhat excited though because book three is right around the corner. I'm sure we'll get to see more since its centered around Earth, book two was Spirits and book one was Fire I believe. But coming back to what I mentioned a sentence ago, Lin hasn't been shown to manipulate metal in a greater radius than about five to ten feet, she's usually near her striking point. Unlike her earthbending feats or just earthbending in general, we've seen a greater distance of bending. So I believe that Tenten would have the greater advantage of projectile/long range combat.

Thanks for your feedback though.

Ten Ten gets stomped by Linda. She has no feats except when she fought against her clone during the Gaara retrieval arc. Kishimoto has been teasing something with her involving the So6p's tools but hasn't gone through with it yet. Lin out classes her in speed, strength, h2h, and everything

I don't think you're giving Tenten enough credit. While the environment and opponent go hand in hand, it's not like she hasn't faced such situations before in the series. And I'm glad you mentioned her fight with her shadow clone. She managed to overcome something that was matched with her in every way, she basically defeated herself. While it may have strained her, she came out victorious with that awesome mass scroll summoning of weapons that rained on the clone. She had to push herself past her limit to even achieve that, which comes back to her skill with strategy and being tactile.

As far as Lin outclassing her in speed, strength and hand-to-hand combat is debatable. But noted that Lin being up in her age is able to keep up with the rest or best of them.

Thanks for your input though, appreciate it.

love the battle. benders would be the top nature transformation fighters and the top tier would be better then Hashirama Senju's wood release. Tenten however uses metal and would be dominated by Lin.

Thank you for your input, like you I would also love to see this battle portrayed. Her use of metal would eventually or possibly lead to her defeat but the use of explosives and heavy artillery would make Lin work for that goal of winning.
