@anim: When Peter returns, we will know if the whole SSM story was something good or bad to the Spider-man saga. I still believe it's a bad thing, but I'm waiting for the verdict. I was never interested in seeing another guy in my hero's shoes. Didn't like it, when Morrison did it with Grayson, can't stand it with Otto taking over Peter's body. Nevertheless, as Slott has mentionned many many many times, SSM sells. That means people for one reason or another, they "like" it. Let's see what the outcome of this era will be.

Superior is going to get outcast by the Super-hero comunity (more than he already is) by trying to do something corrupt for the greater good (ie: Save people from themselves type deal via mindcontrol or something) the Avengers or someone along those lines will attempt to stop him and we'll get a tower of barbel type deal (ie: Superior has been preping since the begining on how to become the Ultimate hero and due to Parkers memories he'll have their weakness already prepped for) they'll be some titanic clash with all of SpOck's plans, mecenaries and other such stuff going into action against everyone else. Just as everything seems to be going badly for the heroes something will happen that will allow Peter to regain control. Once he does he'll accept responsability for everything Superior did (he's pretty big on responsability apparently). Peter will go back to being Spider-man with his credibilty at an all time low. Most of the civiliains will hate him and most of the superhero coummunity will be wary of him at best and downright scared at worst. Thus undoing 10-20 years worth of character devleopment so Marvel can return to their comfort zone of Spider-man being widely misunderstood and hated and having to deal with his "Parker Luck" all over again!
This is my prediction! Screw you Marvel!
Well said bro.
@danslott: No, trust me, I wouldn't. You don't know me personally, I don't know you personally, so don't tell me what I would do. So, you became a sage now? You know everything? Dan, you took a risk and you won. What's your problem now? Some guys (the minority?? I don't know, I don't care) want Peter back and don't like the way you handled the whole SSM thing. Ok? That's all. I'm not whining, I'm talking about my favourite marvel hero, the one that I want back, the one that you "killed" in a bad way, if I am entitled to my opinion. Having this said, I don't say I don't approve you as a writer. You brought Kaine back and I "loved" you for that! I told you elsewhere, don't be such a troll, respect the fans, even if they don't like your work. Believe me, if you do something incredible clever with the whole SSM story, I'll be the first guy to say, you were right all along and the whole thing was great! In many threads I wrote great comments concerning C. Yost. That doesn't mean I think he's a flawless writer. Vice versa, I wrote "bad" comments about your SSM work, that doesn't mean I think you're an awful writer. I admit I called you a couple of times a mediocre writer, but I was angry and that wasn't polite or correct. I know what you're capable of. I've been reading your work. I didn't like that "twist" though. That's all. Now, now, we don't want to become too friendly here, we have a lot of work to do, attacking SSM etc etc. Be well, man.
@noteworthington: Some people don't care about numbers, Xena! I know, Marvel is a company, but if you look thoroughly, the majority doesn't focus on numbers, they're just saying they don't like it.
