Wasn't a big fan of Grim Hunt. The ressurection came off really badly. I was expecting more after The Gaunlet. I guess it'd still be interesting to see what the end result will be, and whether or not the ressurection is perminant.
@Dracade102: Actually, that topic came up in an episode of Big Bang Theory.
That said, given all the different artist interpretations over the decades, one could argue that superheroes retain ALL previous costume variations, and rotate whenever a new artist jumps on board (or are seen in a different series).
From what Wiki has said, in the Batman Beyond story, Bruce is not the old man. It's Damian
It does kinda make sense though. Damian is just a kid in current continuity. So, for him to take of the role of Batman, that'd put him maybe 20 to 30 years in the future. That would make Damian possibly in his 60's (or older, depending on whether they go with a teen Terry or not). during the Batman Beyond panels. There's no doubt that Bruce would've long since passed away (natural causes or otherwise). And Dick's fate (assuming Dick continues to be Batman post ROBW) was already sealed in #666.
That being said, I wonder how that's going to play out when the series comes out.
Brubaker does an amazing Cap (whether it's Rogers or Bucky). This is definitely something I'm going to be picking up. One of the things that is bugging me is Steve's new....hero name. Captain Rogers? All that makes me think of is Mister Rogers. What happened to the Super Soldier name I thought he was going to be saddled with? That wouldn't have been THAT bad. I guess they're trying to turn Steve into another Nick Fury, so they're staying away from the more colourful names.
