Did you even see any evidence of morals in Man of Steel? Unless a family is being directly faced with death in two yards of him Superman will go on destroying everything in sight until the job is done.
Odin because he's vastly more powerful than post crisis DS. Pre crisis would have been more even. Darkseid was watered to down to basically a little stronger than Superman when Supes is holding back. His omega beams have hit people with much less durability than Odin and they've survived, no reason the omega effect would do more than be a slight hinderance to Odin. Odin has the ability to amp his strength with the OF, he's headbutt Galactus, schooled Thor and his Olympian counter part Zeus, regarded as equal to Odin in terms of raw power in Marvel, has laid an absolute smack down on a team of Avengers with plenty of heavy hitters and beaten WB or WW Hulk, I honestly forget which one it was, chained him to a mountain and had a bird eat him.
He's too strong, overpowering Superman and tanking like 800 DC heroes at once (several of which were close to Superman in strength). He's created retcons with his fists. His speed is far and above Thor's standard combat speed too. He lacks Superman's weakness to magic and is overall just more ruthless and annoying than 90 percent of DC creations.
As much as I wish I could say the power gem would let Thor take the majority the gem is really, really underwhelming. There was champion, who lost to Thanos when he had the gem. There was Drax, who lost to a pissed of Thor when he had the gem, and then there was a pissed of Thor who, with the gem, overwhelmed Thanos for a little bit, and was then frozen by a ray gun. All the gem really does is let whoever has it put on a really good show before getting beaten by the slightly bigger fish in the pond.
@czarny_samael666: That fight with Thor and with SS in planet Hulk have nothing to do with one another, the 2 context are completely different. Please don't try to correlate things when you don't understand Hulks character.
Why do you guys always spout out that comic when ever you want to prove Thor is slow? It's one fight, and you everyone bases his speed off of just that.
Because it has Thor confirming his own speed, there are plenty of comics out there where Thor get's blitzed by street levelers, this one just happens to be one of the best examples as it has Thor admitting things himself.

It's not really a blitz considering Thor blocked the first strike. He couldn't tag Wolverine but He could react to Wolverine. Thor has been blitzed by other street levelers though. No doubt about that.
Master chief fires the Infinity's 8 MACs, 25,900 missiles at the two before having UNSC carpet bomb the planet followed by ODST troops jumping into the battlefield. Hulk and Doomsday would make short work of the ODST but the UNSC would use the time to position tanks, warthogs and Pelicans around the them. After sustaining extreme amounts of fire the powerhouses should tear through the vehicles before the military deploys a large infantry force assisted by the SPARTANS. The infantry will probably be equipped with Assault Rifles and Battle Rifles, not much of a threat to the two, but the Spartans are will be the game changer. Provided that Hulk survives the Infinity's assault (questionable) the Spartans would be equipped with SPARTAN Lasers, Rocket Launchers, Beam Rifles, sniper rifles, plasma grenades, and pulse grenades.
