Israel refuses to cooperate with UN War Crimes Gaza probe-connect the dots

And the winner for most demontratably counterproductive move of the week is the Israeli Foreign Ministry- which has announced that if will not only REFUSE to cooperate with the members of a UN War Crimes Gaza probe but it will not even allow them to enter their country.

Israel argues that the inquiry's members are already biased against it( as one of the members has reportedly suggested that PM Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu should be put on trial on war crimes charges at the International Criminal Court at the Hague) and that the inquiry will predictably enough find it guilty anyway.

Talk about "if you have a bad case to begin with-curse your judge!" as the old legal aphorism goes.

Given that Shurat HaDin(an Israeli human rights group) has already filed suit at the the ICC against Hamas leaders( just last week the ICC refused to indict Israel over its "Mavi Marmara" assault back in 2010), I don't get the point of this claim( "infamy, infamy, -they've all bloody well got it in-fa-me!" to quote Kenneth William s in the "Carry On To The Senate").

My own country(the UK) is currently the subject of an ICC probe into alleged war crimes committed by British troops during the invasion and occupation of Iraq- Her Majesty's Government denies the charges but has not refused to cooperate with the ICC- a sensible move in as much as doing just that would more or less confirm the charges(what does it have it have to hide?)

Anybody think as I do?
