New X-Men.... New Hardships!!

They were to be the next generation of mutants, the next generation of X-Men. They've endured field days and skill missions that should have prepared them for what is to come. But no miniscule task or combat training could have prepared these students for what they have endured already without the burden of becoming full fledge X-Men yet. These students have experienced being exposed to drugs, betrayal, death, life, jealousy, lonliness, murder, quick thinking, and most of all: pain!! Now that these bunch of students have experienced the worst of all evils what's to stop them from becoming the next generation of X-Mem!?!?

  1. Surge

  Found using drugs because of the chance that she could control her powers. Became enrolled into The Xavier Institute and developed into a strong leader. Headstrong and stubborn... she only has the best interest for her fellow classmates and teammates. And her quick thinking has more than once saved the lives of her classmates!

  2. Prodigy

  Smart and rational, he found comfort with Surge until the day when Prodigy lost his powers due to M-Day and he wouldn't leave the mansion. Surge's last resort was to kiss someone else to make Prodigy jealous and leave but even that didn't work. He still gives tech support to the X-Men.

  3. Elixir

  Elixir was once the pretty boy on campus but that all changed when his "girlfriend," Wallflower, was shot in the head right in front of him after they just had an arguement. He was never the same after that. His golden skin turned black as death and he became cold and distant. He then joined the death strike force team X-Force. Feeling that death was always near him, X-force was a logical team to be apart of. But after traveling to the future and back, saving his friends from a modified Legacy Virus, and saving Wolfsbane and her unborn baby, it's time for Elixir to catch his breath!!!

  4. Hellion

  The "bully" at The Xavier Institute. He was always (pardon the language) an asshole. After the X-Men disbanded for a time Hellion was left alone in the world, directionless and willing to change to the dark side easily as long as he wasn't alone. Plus he just lost his hands... which is a big deal for him because that's how he controls his powers mainly!

  5. Mercury

  Mercury's the ultimate friend! She's charming, smart, always there when you need a crying shoulder, and cute. But when she was kidnapped and picked at and tortured at a facility where they only wanted her skin... Mercury's view on the world changed dramatically!! The monsters made out of her durable skin feeds on mutants, although the birth of those monsters weren't her fault... she still does feel somewhat responsible!!!

  6. Dust

  Dust is a beautiful Muslim mutant. Though she already has to live with being Muslim she has now have to deal with also being a mutant. While she never wants to use her powers in an offensive way... spending time at Xavier's and learning what the world really thinks about mutants as a whole has opened her eyes. A target for radicals and racists, Dust has no problem with showing them different!

  7. Rockslide

  Rockslide was always known as the strong, jock-type, funny, bully!! But when the X-Men disbanded Rockslide unleashed his emotional side towards Cyclops and how why they should stick together!!!

  8. Anole

  Even though Anole has to deal with the fact that he is gay... he also has to deal with the fact that he's a mutant and one with a physical mutation!! But when he was dragged into hell and a horde a demons and monsters attacked, Anole would feel the worst pain, as one of his arms was ripped off!! Little did he know that a stronger one would replace it though.

  9. Pixie

  Poor little Pixie, in the beginning she was bubbly, cute, and annoying!!! But when she was dragged into the hell demension, everything changed! In order for her and her friends to escape, The Darkchilde would need a part of an innocent soul. Pixie's soul. After that moment something changed inside that little pixie. Longing for her soul to be returned, instead it was replaced by a Soul Dagger.

  10. Loa

  Loa is a "go with the flow" kind of person!!! She's from Hawaii, loves to surf, and is a great friend! But when it comes to using her powers... she is extremely hesistant!! Her powers aren't like any other!! When she passes through something (much like Kitty) it "crumbles" (not much like Kitty). Loa will eventually have to overcome he uncertainty and make a choice eventually!!!

  11. Match

  Match has a hot-headed (HAHA)personality!!! He's extremely head-strong and willing to fight when ever there's a fight!!! When the riots in San Francisco erupted... Match was right there in the middle of all of it ready to fight until it was over!!! But his quick decisons will one day get himself, and whoever else is with him, hurt!!

  12. Indra

  It isn't easy being on of the youngest mutants left alivie... But at least Indra rolls with it!! He's so wound up tight about being passive not aggressive that religion has literally come to blows with nature!! When he was forced to use his powers to defend himself, something changed inside of him. He was evolving!! His now shielded plates of protection have now evolved into a full on set of body armor including it's own set of floating weapons!!! Sacred of what he's becoming, Indra will have to learn that being passive and a mutant... does not work well together in this world today!!

  13. Armor

  Armor was just an innocent student caught in the wrong place at the wrong time! She was taken aboard a space-craft to another world with some other X-Men by accident! She would have to learn to grow up real fast or she would be killed on this world of violence. she then became one of Wolverine's newest proteges. Still learning the extant of her abilities, Armor is now playing with the big boys now and she must step up to par.

  14. Blindfold

  The confusing and ever annoying Blindfold is always unnerving when she speaks. Not only does she see into the future she has to make it all sound so cryptic! At times her cryptic messages have put her fellow students at odds like when they were dragged to hell, faced Proteus, attacked by undead mutants, or see invisible monsters.... Blindfold is one brave soul!!

  15. Trance

  Cute and loveable Trance was made to grow up all too fast!! When the riots broke out in San Francisco, Trance was caught in the worst place. she was on the run with other fellow mutants when they became cornered. Trance was shot with a taser that left her and her asteal self stuck and merged together. They were rescued by Ariel, a teleporting new member, but Trance (due to her powers) became lost. She traveled the streets until she came into contact again with these "bad men." Her powers were evolving and she was so scared that she needed someone to be with her before she could hurt anyone else. Luckily Trance was the one that learned how to become one again.

  16. Bling!

  While Bling! was just wandering the desolate areas of Utopia... she was kidnapped by Emplate... a former vampire-like mutant that needs regenerative-like mutants to stay alive. Mutants like Bling!. He would feed on her marrow because she could reproduce more and more thus keeping her alive and also keeping him alive too. Scared out of her mind, Bling! was rescued by Rogue... who she finds comfort with.

  17. Onyxx

  Onyxx was the most unluckiest of these batch of mutants. Being Bling!'s best friend, Onyxx was always seen hanging with friends. Although he appears like he could be a twin brother of Rockslide... Onyxx was all but different. He was gentle and kind and willing to aid others before himself. That was noble until it led to his death. During the raid on Utopia by the undead mutants, Dust was about to become victim to a "death-touch" but Onyxx jumped right in front of her and recieved the final blow!! Dust will forever mourn her savior and Bling! will forever miss her best friend!

  18. Wolf Cub

  When the Institute closed and most of the students went their seperate ways... Wolf Cub had no direction. He was then later recruited into the newly formed "Young X-Men" by a faux Cyclops who later turned out to be Donald Pierce. Pierce's motive in forming this new team was to fool both the students and other members of the X-Men. When his cover was blown... a fight broke out between the team of students and Pierce. Wolf Cub, however, recieved a fatal blow by him and died in Rockslide's arms. His last words were: "X-Men don't kill."

  19. Gentle

  Gentle is what his name suggests... Gentle. Despite having awesome powers (enhanced strengh) Gentle must endure the pain that comes along with them. He is in constant pain from these powers that tattoos were painted on him to restrain these powers. When the X-Men disbanded, Gentle decided he would head home to Wakanda. Little did he know that he wasn't wanted there and that he missed the "friends" he had made while at Xaviers.

  20. Quill

  When Xavier's Institute was under attack by Rev. William Stryker, Quill was among the casulties. Unbeknowest to him, he would get shot and killed right in front of his room by the same killer who blew up the bus that carried the depowered students. Spunky and spirited, Quill never really got a chance to shine his light.

  21. Stepford Cuckoos

  The Cuckoos are a weird bunch. Where there used to be five... now there is three. Sophie was killed in the riots at Xaviers and Esme betrayed her sisters and joined "Magneto's" Brotherhood. She was then killed in action for a cause that was way beyond her power. The last three: Celeste, Mindee (Irma), and Phoebe are the last of the Cuckoos.

  22. Icarus

  Icarus was a lost soul. He endured so much pain even before he enrolled at Xavier's Institute. But when M-Day happened and most of the world's mutantgs lost their powers, Rev. William Stryker saw an opportunty to strike and kill the rest of the race! Starting with the students that would be the next generation!! But a confused Icarus thought that the Rev. would help him understand why this has happened but the Rev. had other ideas in mind. Like telling him the whereabouts of the depowered students that were heading on a bus out of the city. The Rev. blew up that bus and all of the former students died. Feeling responsible, Icarus wanted to stop the Rev. but was shot and killed.

  23. Wallflower

  Wallflower was exactly that... a wallflower, a follower, an innocent girl that had immense power. She could alter the pheremones of the people around her with great intensity but she didn't know it yet. The Rev. William Stryker saw a vision that had Wallflower exterminate all of his men in one wave of an attack. Even though she hadn't developed her powers fully, The Rev. still saw her as a threat. Wanting to rule this future out, he had her killed right in front of her "boyfriend" Elixir.

  24. Wither

  Not being able to touch anyone is an extremely tough burden to live with as Rogue displays. But not being able to touch anyone becuse you contain a "death touch" that kills on contact... yeah, that's even tougher. Wither became outcasted by his fellow students because of his powers. No one wanted to be near him because of the near fatal death he contains within him. When M-Day occured, Wither thought he had lost his powers... little did he know that not all mutants lost their gifts. He touched Wallflower on the arm and withered it away. Feeling responsible, he ran away from the Institute only to be found by Selene, the vampire-like mutant life drainer. She found interest in him and he became her ward. When Selene rose the undead mutants to feed upon, Wither was right there with her enjoying the ride. But when a duel came down between Elixir (life) and Wither (death), Elixir won by killing Wither. Was he just a misguided teen who didn't know better or was he really sadistic!?!
