How many females like comics??, it seems they are hiding.

  1. Alot of times, people think that the average comic book lover is a middle aged man with a beard a veteren/harley rider would envy, but with zero accomplishments. 
    Is it possible to change the average image- to- maybe??? -intelligent, 20 something female, with a good self concept?. When can we come together and just enjoy the artwork people have spent their dedication on? When will the concept of both sexes coming together and not constrict towards one gender... Atleast thats the way it looks to me....

Also, some women (yes, we are females, but we are women) are into comics, but just not enough to be a full-fledged nerd/geek like me. I know someone who likes reading Wonder Woman for fun, but she dislikes other comics. For some girls, they might like the stories, but just not the format of comic books, since it's so different from reading a novel. I know plenty of those people, and they end up saying things like "Wow, I never knew comic books were so awesome!" or "I thought they were just picture books, but now I'll start reading them!". So keep trying to convert everyone, even girls, to comics! :)

But really, in all honesty, I don't really know anyone personally, as in, in real life, who reads comics. Manga yes, but not comics. At least not regularly, and not superhero stuff. Wow, I need to get some new friends.

@primmaster. dont try to take my thunder bro.. --@everyone else thanx for the input. Alot of times in my life i have constantly battled stereotypes and refuse to conform. blogs are a great way to gain support and learn from mistakes...

everyday you have to look at your own life and hopefully you've learned a thing or two on the way...

In fact a girls night out for me and seven of my friends is Outback and Comic Book shopping... 
 
And I have yet to find an attractive guy who reads comics.....
