If you want to catch up on 616 peter & Mile read the Secret Wars issues. Personally, I'd stick with Renew Your Vows. to me, that's the real Peter. and although it's written by Slott, he does a decent job with. far, FAR better than he did with ASM 1-18

As for ASM. If you are a Black Cat fan avoid unless you want to be angry through out. Because Cage & Slott really do a number on her. it like they're doing everything they can to destroy who she really is and make her totally unlikeable. the only ASMs I would recommend is 16.1-20.1 by Conway and Conway write a far better Felicia in 18.1, we're upto 19.1 right now. To be honest avoid all 18 issues, believe me Slott really does a terrible job with them, not to mention Spider-Man is more of a supporting character than one whose name is on the title. I would stick with the .1 issues.

You should also read Ultimate End

Do you mean specifically the Spider-Man related Secret Wars issues or are there some straight-up comics JUST called "Secret Wars"? Just making sure so I properly know what to read since almost everything seems to be tagged with "Secret Wars" somewhere. xD;

I don't really want to avoid anything--especially for any form of personal opinions I may have on some things--'cause I'd just like to catch up on Spidey and, even if they're definitely not the best, I do at least still enjoy them. If somewhat. I've already read most of Slott's run on ASM, too. I'm only missing 18. xD Like I said, I'm up until the April releases thus far!

I shall definitely read Ultimate End, then!

Thanks for the response, btw!

Alright, so due to a couple of personal stuff having taken up a lot of my time recently, it's been a little difficult for me to stay up to date on my Spidey reading. Now that I finally have the time to do so, I'm getting back up to date! Currently reading some of the Spidey-related stuff released in April, so it shouldn't take me long at all to catch up.

Thing is, however, with the recent Secret Wars stuff going on, I'm a little bit of at a loss as to what I should be reading specifically once I do catch up. I have read all of Ultimate Spidey--including Miles Morales' latest series--and now that that's "over", I wanted to ask: Where exactly do I go to continue reading on his end of things? Is Ultimate End all that's technically necessary to catch up on Miles or is there something else I should be reading, as well?

Same with 616 Peter. Once I catch up on ASM, are there any specific Secret Wars titles I should be reading to get up to date on him or should I be reading all of the Secret Wars stuff to understand what's going?

I'm also obviously reading other Spidey titles [Spider-Gwen, Silk, 2099, Spider-Woman, SM&XM, etc], but those are the ones that concern me the most. Thanks in advance for any and all help! Events always find a way to get me all confused and jumbled up if I don't manage to get into them the moment they begin. @.@

I am so much more excited over this than I am over finding out how Spider-Verse is going to continue/wrap up. It's a bit sad, really, since I was originally super pumped over Spider-Verse. Ah, well.

It has been quite some time since I've made a post in here, but Olivier's art in ASM #9 has brought me back. Just to praise.

Seriously, his art in that issue is absolutely STUNNING. I need more of it in my life.

That is all.

It's been a while, have you managed to get it yet, if so what did you think?

I apologize for the EXTREMELY late response! No, I haven't. I'm a bit tight on money right now and the like. @.@

Don't mind me, just dropping my review for The Amazing Spider-Man #1.2. Since it's the only one he hasn't done yet. And, you know, to contribute incase he's interested. c:

4. Wouldn't he be 19?......i have a feeling 3 yrs past.....anyway,the anger is what drove me off the possibility of him being him in issue one,but i'll stick to the "He's the real deal" and see where this goes........

I spoilered it because we are talking about the latest issue and how he's been acting and what he wanted to do. xD

Think about it,we're talking about if Peter is Peter......this is #1 news.

5. I think he'll tell her.He went to MJ and everything,it seems to be serious,with Katie,which i still find weird,because i know 616 Bishop,and just can't imagine her with Miles,but anyway,i don't care about him that much,he could do whatever he wants. :P

4. It's only been two years, the small get-together that Aunt May planned and invited everyone for in "Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man 200" was commemorating the second anniversary of Peter's death, which happened right after his birthday.

But we did speak about his anger, which was a lot more predominant in this issue. In the first issue he just seemed rude, now he was an outright dick. xD

5. Right, I forgot you don't care much for Miles. xDDD

4. He's young, maybe the dick-ness is a weird protective reaction.... "just give me the web-shooters so i can go" that sounds like when he wanted to protect MJ,and was rufde with her.Think about that for a possibility...........and to get his old web-shooters he would have to sneak into the house, and risking being exposed to Aunt May,or May being in shock that the web-shooters are gone.......or it's just the script,brother!!!....Bendis wanted only Miles to know that he's alive, and he thought "Well,i'll make him want his web-shooters back!" kinda thing.

Also, nothing spoilerish in your comment, the spoiler bar isn't necessary.

Don't take it so seriously,man....."we think" , "we thought" ,i just started the theory like that.......come on.Why so much nitpicking.

4. If they're going with him being alive, he'd be 18 now and that's not really young enough to let himself be taken over by emotions like that. I don't know, it just doesn't seem like Spidey to lash out at someone like that and then use his powers to knock them out, especially when the other person is a good person, regardless of him being angry. And Bendis is always extremely methodical, and I don't see him creating an unlikely scenario for the heck of it. Yeah, it does make sense that he'd be exposed to Aunt May and risk himself, which is why I said earlier "let's say something happened to that other set and/or he can't get to it", but when he's still capable of making his own set, it's just odd. Especially with all that anger.

I don't know, it's just me. I don't think that's Peter at all, especially with the personality change, but we'll have to wait and see.

I spoilered it because we are talking about the latest issue and how he's been acting and what he wanted to do. xD

I'm just saying, you said "we think" or "we thought" in the general sense, and I don't agree 'cause so far you're the only person I know who still thinks that's the real Peter. Like I said, maybe it's the people I talk to, but "we" as the general readers, from what I've seen, don't think that. You stated it as a fact earlier and I'm just responding to that. It's part of the discussion, man. xD

ALSO

I added a new number to my previous post [edited it after I made the post, but before you replied]

Just incase. ^^
