Comixology is having a sale on some of DC's Rebirth titles. Was curious if Nightwing, Action Comics, JL, or Aquaman were any good. Is it worth picking up the first few issues while they are on sale?
@reignmaker: It's enjoyable but not my favorite. Jumping between the two storylines is a smart way to handle the double ship and balance two artists. I know it is somewhat of an unpopular opinion, but I really enjoyed Azzarello and Chiang's Wonder Woman from the New 52. I like Rucka's writing, but I didn't really need him to mess with her origin again.
So I finished up reading the Jason Aaron run on Thor, from God of Thunder all the way through Lady-Thor pre-Secret Wars. I enjoyed it enough and I wanted to continue reading. However, the post-Secret Wars Mighty Thor series is not on the Marvel Unlimited app. I was wondering if anyone knew why this was the case. Thanks in advance.
I love Spider-Man but haven't read much of ASM. My only real knowledge of the character comes from Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man run, which I absolutely loved, and a few other stories like Kraven's Last Hunt and Spider-Man Blue. I read Superior Spider-Man but, while I enjoyed it, am not really a fan of Slott's writing. I tried reading his post-Superior run but it wasn't for me. Was curious what your guys' opinion on the best point to jump into ASM would be. Not really interested in post-OMD unless there are some great stories there.
Although I read a lot of Batman, I am not too familiar with Damien Wayne. A while ago I tried to read The Black Glove which I heard was the introduction of Damien but I did not like it at all. It has been a while so I may go back and check it out, though.
I was just wondering where some of you recommend that I check out some stories to get a better idea of Damien. I've heard that Batman and Robin is a good series where Dick is Batman but I was curious if there was anything else.
Not sure if a thread has already been made but I was just curious what the general consensus on the new suit is. Seems like he'll be sporting it for a while.
I think it looks a little too military and the cape is a little too short but it's not bad overall. I was big fan of the New 52 suit.
Interesting theory. Despite a lot of criticism, I actually really enjoyed Kylo Ren as a character. I thought he was an unconventional villain and I'm really interested to see where he goes.
I hope Disney avoids doing the same arc and having Ben sacrifice himself at the end of this trilogy. I think it would be interesting if he survives the events of Episode 8 and 9, turns back to the Light Side, and spends the rest of his life trying to repair what he's done.
