@kagetaicho: Not as easy as most would think he would, Superman has resisted blasts from a sun eater before which consumes whole stars, Superman has resisted cosmic blasts from Imperix in Our World's at war, what makes SS so superior to some of the powerful people Superman has faced who are much more stronger than superman to begin with? Superman has been the under dog quite a few times in comics doesn't mean he would lose.
HulkOwns, Superman has met people much more powerful than him self. Hulk apperently has no limit accroding to alot of fans to him, this however if put in battle doen't mean Hulk would beat Superman in a fight. It just means that Hulk is over powered by saying the madder he gets the stronger he gets, Superman though increadbly powerful has met people much more stronger than himself.
Just because Superman has a few long ranged attacks doesn't mean he is over powered you can Say Thor is over powered because he can cast a lightning bolt to hit you. And by current Hulk in comics I mean by Hulk's current story arc which is upto date Since you don't want to show or mention Hulk in WWH which are his strongest showings. I figured to use current Hulk in his current story arc and also use current Superman within his which is New Krypton and superman has not shown to be over powered.
Proof and logic and real facts out weigh a person who thinks who is just over all over powered.
And HulkOwns, Ok not going from WWH which is Hulk's strongest feats in current comics but current Hulk in comics right now compared to current Superman on New krypton not taking into account OWAW Superman feats which were is strongest feats. Hulk still is over powered on account that He seeminly has no limit to his strength sure it's not known What Superman can lift but he has shown a limit in past comics but for Superman to gain more power he needs to be in the core of the Sun to accomplish that.
And if hearing people on the other side of the world is over powered then Sentry is over powered in Marvel U, get your facts stright when calling on a character over powered yet another character can do the same thing and he isn't considered over owered. There are alot of people who are much more powerful than Superman, such as Infinity man from the New Gods who has KOed Superman before.
Sliver Surfer apperently doesn't need to hit a planet to destroy it, he can just be fighting some guy and destroy it from the force of his blows, yet Superman has to actully hit the planet to destroy it so really how is he over powered?
Don't just write a name and have no logic or reason for your post it just shows your ignorant to the character or characters in general.
WTF!? His heat vision can't destroy a planet, thats bullcrap, I know every issue of current Superman comics plus a few else worlds and his heatvision can't destroy a planet. Wow people on here say Superman is over powered yet when a battle comes up say like Superman vs Silver surfer. Surfer winzs by pwning him. HOW IN THE HELL does this logic work? If Superman is so over powered then Silver Surfer is a God character who can't be beaten by anyone in his universe.
And thats just an example of people's logic on here, Hulk is way more over powered than Superman, and for the record Superman can only vaporise the earth's oceans with his heat vision he can't destroy a planet with it.
This battle has been done millions of times and pretty much fan bois of SS are here, I may like Superman and he maybe my fave character but I do also acknowledge other characters they are pitted against and there feats people who say without reason who wins are pretty much idiots with no reason as to say why this person wins. And also I like how a few people post crappy scans some are cannon others are not, but people who claim others as Superman fan bois have yet to post bad showings of SS. I could do that all day as well like the SS fan bois have been doing to Superman, like when SS was knocked out by a brick yes a BRICK.
The whole bit about SS taking Superman's solar reserves is bullcrap Captain Atom is an energy manipulator and even he has not done that in any comic when he is forced to Fight superman.
I'd have to say neither is overpowered, there both strong characters and they live upto what there written to be. But lets look at a few facts on the character.
This depends on your defanation of over powered, Superman has more powers sure but that really doesn't make him overpowered, if you say it is then so is Sliver Surfer and Thor who have other powers besides super strength. Superman has moved a planet in current comics also, but still is that considered over powered? to some people who are fans of Hulk don't think so. If you say Superman is more powerful than Hulk most fans will say he isn't because Hulk gets angry and the madder he gets the stronger he gets.
To me I'd have to say Hulk is more over powered due to him apperently having no limit to his strength.
