And that time travel thing, I only see that as accessed by Speed Force useres, not people with just conventional speed like Superman has. so that time travel thing can be kicked out since Superman isn't tied to the Speed force, and the Speed force gives Speedsters a few adventages than others who have conventional speed like Superman. 
 
Like I said before Flash can easily run as light Speed without harming the earth or tearing it apart, where if Superman moved at light on earth he would destroy it, obviously the Speed Force gives a few things that people who are just normaly fast that don't have it.

I'm not saying Superman wins here I'm just saying that the race would not be as one sided as it has been in Flash Comics before which took place on earth. I'm not dismissing Flash as Flash is a fave character of mine also besides Superman. But lately in comics Flash PWNs Superman in speed when actully Superman is alot faster than people give him credit for. I can't see Flash winning as easily as he has done in past comics this would be more of a fair match up in speed. Since Superman can only travel at the Speed of sound on Earth which is hardly fair to say Flash is Faster since the Speed Force reduces damage on Earth unlike if Superman moves that fast on earth he would split the earth in Two.

I know I made this thread ok I'm going to put up my argument here so you guys know why I am debating this. See in space Superman has a speed advantage, where you guys show Flash beating superman in races even there with Barry Allen you have to remember thats on earth. The Speed Force actully reduces the damage caused when the Flash runs at light on Earth while Superman isn't connected to the Speed force if he moved that fast on earth he would split the earth in two. Also here is my argument and a pic. 
 
In Death of New Gods it took Superman less than 4 minutes to reach metropolis on earth from vega, Vega is located 25.3 light years away from earth. If it took Superman 10 hours to reach earth that would make Superman 1.752 billion times light speed

Forgot to mention it's 100 times around the earth who would win this race and why.

Superman vs Flash in a race but not just any race a space race.
 
Green Lantern has used his ring to make the track orbiting around the earth.
 
Flash has a breathing aparatius so he is ok with breathing.
