All hell broke lose. The silence before the storm was ended and the storm had come. He saw some unfriendly figures on the ground but was abrubtly interrupted by one of the professors. ''I know, sir! The kids can take care of themselves but you could certainly use a hand in here. And...'' Before he could talk anymore a man under a court jester suit hopped in from the window. Looking eye to barrel with the gun wasn't really a first in his life. ''And there is this man who should've shot first!'' At the half of his sentence his visor left out the ground breaking force. His body didn't move a bit his stance unchanged only a little touch between his finger tips and the unstoppable optic rays broke lose. From this close there would be not much of a chance to evade the onslaught and the effects if met would took the man with the wall behind him out of the way.
His senses as fast as ever, took the reflection of a spark going bigger besides him. The rays stopped for a second and brendan grabbed his visor. ''Sorry, sir. I won't be listening to you just this once!'' Brendan was a young man. Bright and brave. He wouldn't run away from a fight and he loved looking eye to eye with an opponent. Brendan turned against the window. Eyes locked to the origin point of the violet flames. His hand fell down to his side, one with the visor. The red light was all there is with the echo of Brendan's scream. Then the red joined the violet creating a scene to be seen once in a lifetime. Mount breaking force of his optic rays penetrating the sphere took the route to the source.
After three seconds he put on the visor back. The pain in his head making it feel like his brain was trying to leave the body. Brendan took a deep breath. His head wet with his sweat. ''I feel awesome...'' If his voice hadn't cracked it would have made it sound more believable.
