As we all know, Kick-ass is being turned into a movie Staring the ill-fitting goofy, "Mclovin" and the Crapathon producing Nicolas Cage. Kick-ass is easily, my all time favorite book; however my hopes for this movie are dwindling. The casting just seems completely off; i am hoping they catch me off guard with a pleasant surprise however. This alone wasn't enough to throw me off, but the entire vibe of the early and leaked trailer is just upsetting. A link for the trailer will be located below. The vibe of the comics is one of indifference, teen angst(in a way) and just the all to relatable left out nerd. The movies vibe looks like a feel good, tongue in cheek, peachy-keen action movie. I hope that they truly capture the dialogue and mood the right way; and that trailer was just them trying to lure in the mass audience.
