Perhaps this has been answered, but I don't understand the difference between these Free Mondays, and just the free section under Digital Comics. Are these just additional comics that are also free? Or what.

Heh. DC is alright. I got no problems with them. I just don't get too many of their books. I'm more familiar with Marvel characters, and I'm already buying too many comics each week.

" No one started to be a villain because he wanted to be one(except kid Karnevil), but trauma and psychological diorders, some earned, others inherited....led them to the path of not bothering with morality and smothering their conscience.... Lets face it, having a conscience is a constant non-physical pain that appears when certain actions or occasions appear in life. Your own private tormentor.  The easiest way is not to have one...  "
Yeah, you're right.  No one ever thinks "When I grow up, I want to be hated."  Everyone is right in their own eyes. "
So far as people not suffering from severe mental illness, I believe this is right. And this to me is the most believable type of villain. The kind that mirrors our real world villains; the Hitlers. They followed a path that led them to believe they were doing the right thing even while doing something atrocious. You could have conversation with them, and not think of them as terrible human beings.

The Jokers of the world, the flat out crazies, just don't get enough power to cause much harm. No one follows someone that disturbed besides people that are equally disturbed, and there just aren't enough of them to put one in power.

But a man with good intentions, he could destroy the whole damn world.

Far too addictive. You start with one line. Then an issue of that makes you interested in a few other characters. So you are up to three books. Then each of those turn you on to two more, and so on and so forth. Then one day you are reading every book Marvel pumps out.

I'd really prefer them to advance what they started with the Sonic Adventure games. They put out two great 3D Sonic games, then lost a console, and put out nothing but crap so far as console games for a few years. Then Sonic Unleashed came along and was actually pretty damn good. The were-hog part was enough for most people to condemn it though, and the industry at large turned a blind eye to one of the best Sonic games in years. It was average, but in terms of 3D Sonic games lately, average is gold. I'd really like them to take it and polish the hell out of it. There is really something worth-while there.

This game is not really paving any new streets. Sonic has been successful in 2.5D on the PSP with Sonic Rivals, and  on the DS with Sonic Rush (may have been just regular 2D, now that I think about it). And there were even great regular 2D Sonic games on the GBA with the Sonic Advance series, that incorporated characters from the Sonic Adventure series. All of these games were great Sonic games reminiscent of the classic style. This one looks just as good, but i don't know why everyone is treating it as a return to form, as if Sega hasn't been putting out similar games for years.

This is not the type of game Sega hasn't proved they can do. In fact its very obvious they can do it just fine.

They are rebooting because of casting problems mostly.

I say quit the reboot, but still recast. Why can't Peter Parker be like James Bond? Why do we need to restart the whole story cause of casting issues?

Also try http://www.dcbservice.com/ Like 6 bucks flat rate per order, but you get 40-50% per issue, so its easy to recoop the shipping cost. Its only good for pre-orders though, go with http://www.mycomicshop.com/ for your back issues, like Korg said .

As for my local shop, I've got two I go to. One is run by a super nice guy, but has terrible inventory. The other has a few employees who barely live up to the word, but the manager of the place is still pretty nice, and a bit nicer selection. There is also a local chain a bit farther out with a totally awesome selection, nice staff, but it is by far the most expensive. I generally hit it up if I can't find what I want at the other two.

What characters are known for are what they are known for. Its hard for them to go away because of the amount of writers that the characters are handed to. Since that has been made a distinguishing feature of Pym, some of those writers are just going to talk about it, because they know the audience will recognize it as being part of his character.

They could make it a point to reform him, but I bet sooner or later a writer is going to want to have him slip again, because that was in his history.

I just went and read The New Avengers #1 because I was curious and the Young Avengers aren't really in there. Aside from that, the New Avengers seems to be an avengers team made up of people who don't feel comfortable answering directly to the government. So Stark gives them an Avengers mansion and Rogers tells them to go do what they will. Rogers has a liaison, so he knows what they are doing, but he says they are not going to assert any control over them.
