Favorite Artists

Here are some of my favs. This list will grow over time, as I know more about the writers than the artists. I have to go and learn some of their names.

List items

  • Numero-uno for sure. Lee's art is what got me into buying comics in the first place. Yeah, I jumped on board with X-Men #1 and later all his Image work. Still today I pick up the books he draws.

  • His work with Jeph Loeb on Batman is by far my favorite Batman art work. Next to Lee's of course.

  • Huge Transmetropolitan fan. So glad that we got the same crew of Ellis and Robertson the whole time. It would not have been the same if the artist had changed part way through the series.

  • Here simply because of the The Dark Knight Returns. I am not a fan of his work on Sin City and other stuff, except maybe 300. His art matched so well with the story in TDKR, I had ot put him on here.

  • The Ultimates is by far one of my favorite books, and I go back to it all the time. Once again, a great pairing to Millar's words.

  • Ultimate Spider-Man was the best. Again, so glad that he stayed on the title's complete run, and that he came back for the DOSM storyline.

  • Bone and Rasl are two of my favorite books. Love the Black and White art. Very well done.

  • Ultimate Hulk v. Wolverine hooked me on this guy. His work is always superb.

  • Love Kingdom Come. Some people don't like his painting style, but I think it is great when mixed with the right story.

  • her work on I, Vampire is not to be missed. Just read my reviews of that series, and you'll see why I love her stuff so much.

  • Her stuff is awesomely good. One of the big reasons to read the new Ultimate Spider-Man.
