A part of me really loves the fact that each of these four characters are based on another character, and have split off to completely become their own thing (or at least have the potential to). Something about that makes them a fun idea for a team.

Yeah, Shatterstar was way better before Peter David turned him into a real character who was interesting and had a personality.

Are you freaking kidding me? Listen, I understand how if you create a character, then someone else totally changes it, then I can see how that would offend you. But when was the last time that Liefeld even touched this character. When you create a character then yes, you do get to design who they are, so therefore another writer after you should have respect for what you created and not just ignore it, but Peter David doesn't do that. Nobody has more love for continuity than Peter David, he truly cares about that. And that's why when Peter David writes a character, if he wants to change them then he puts in the legwork. He actually comes up with reasons, stories, and arcs that show a character grow. And do you know why he is allowed to do that? Because after you have created the character and leave them... they continue to exist. They are out there in the comic universe, they continue to live on, and if you want that character to not grow or change over the rest of their life, then that just makes them the most bland and dull characters imaginable.

And yeah, Liefeld, feel free to go back and "undo this." Because that might finally be the thing that gets companies to stop giving you work.

Wow, major props to him for coming out and revealing this, because I won't lie, the whole 2 Sharons thing and the lame villains juste made me drop the book outright, and I'm happy to know it wasn't his fault.

Let this be a lesson. The excitement of Brian Michael Bendis returning to writing a noir street level book cannot eclipse the hatred readers have for Brian Michael Bendis making characters insane and doing whatever he wants with them.

Yes, make the DC logo more extreme and hip... because that's been working great for... uh oh.

Static Shock was canceled because the whole idea of 52 was to make these books more accessible, but in the first issue of Static I went "Okay I watched the show, I read some of the books, I know a good deal about him... wait... he's got an evil doppelganger sister... and who the heck is Hardware... and he's at a new school and new job but we haven't seen either of these at all?" Static is a great character but this book just did a horrible job of introducing us to him.

... You got to be kidding me. Please, Marvel, could you please stop spoiling your stories in the freaking promos for them? Archangel being in this promo spoils his eventual return.

Resurrection Man survived the first cut, wheeeeeeew, okay, I can sleep better. Although I am kind of ticked over OMAC being canceled, but even I, a big fan of the series, have to admit it's got a very niche audience.
