I think when it come down to it, I personally see it as a kill rate. Ok before people start to jump on me, i want to clarify that killing is by no means Great or "heroic". I think Characters like Captain america, Spiderman, The Fantastic four and just even the Hulk can still be considered Heroes because theirs Kills were honorable in a sense anyone of them who have killed someone, has had it be an Enemy or Villain, So that out weights the kills IMO anyways therefore they have a chance to join the avengers or continue being one. Now Characters like Wolverine, Punisher and Elektra in my opinion are More of Anti heroes. They clearly have a Kill rate combine to overpower their "Good deeds" so I figure that the current avengers wouldn't really be to kine on what they have done or who they have killed, But a Team up is possible. I also want to point out that the reason why the avengers would team up with these Anti Heroes is because they are good at what they do and that is kill so if the avengers somehow get overpowered by the enemy its understandable for them to call up Wolverine,Punisher or Elektra to even the odds.
I dunno, though i Love Black widow the character, I still don't like the fact that they haven't had her speak or use a Russian accent, and I know i know before anyone tells me, Black widow has recently in comic lost her accent to better herself as a spy but still it wouldn't hurt the movie if we heard Scarlet speak russian in a scene or two, its personally for me something special that makes Natasha who she is.
Soo Elektra's misdirection ability has no bearing on this battle? You know she'll be using it right off the start line.
Lets not also forget that Elektra does have her "Silent Scream" technique, So wouldn't that just cancel the canary cry?, I'd say Team Marvel takes this one.
@HBKTimHBK: I don't mind Jennifer Garner returning as Elektra but i'd doubt she would just going by the backlash she got from the Movie. But for the record i'm one of the few who actually liked her in the movie for what its worth if they were to include Elektra in a future movie or remake her I'd want Eliza to play her, if Jennifer denies of course.
@White Mage: Could be the way she stopped it, Angle wise and Besides this the Marvel Universe Anything is possible i don't think our common physics apply to her ninja skills.

Just felt like adding that. Anyways I'd Go with Elektra Sure Faith is a Slayer but Elektra has Horned her Craft and is well balanced Mentally and Physically, if i remember correctly Faith had Anger issues which sometimes lead to her loses.
*With that being said if they every where to make a remake or big Marvel joint movie like the Avengers, I would love Eliza Dushku or Megan fox to play Elektra.

True...lol maybe i went a bit too far with Megan fox but I still would love Eliza Dushku to play Elektra, or an Actress who can fully understand Elektra's sexy but Deadly nature.
