I have to say I didn't really like this book. I'm not usually the kind of person to flame something on the internet just for the sake but I just had an argument in the store with someone about this and I feel the need to vent on the internet. I thought this book (I have only read this issue but) is Scott Pilgrim but with a sock puppet. Grendel, refreshing and rad. 0
If truth be told I came across Grendel by watching the Kevin smith Movie 'Chasing Amy', being a comic book fan, and Kevin smith fan this was almost my favourite of his films. Then, on closer inspection, I saw that the guy playing Mike Allred was in fact Mike Allred. This is when I started to take notice of all the little things in the film and I noticed a poster of a cool looking guy, 'Grendel'.
