CRAP my Calender here doesn't go past December 31st...ITS THE END OF THE WORLD....oh wait, got a 2013 Calender for Christmas....but it only goes to December 31st of 2013...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Iverson is/was an average shooter at best regardless of FG%, I know it is hard to find exact stats on percentage based on range, but I remember when he played in the finals they showed a stat that he shot somewhere around 38% from 15-23 feet, but made up for it with the work he did inside the lane. Also the NBA standard for shooting is that for a G/F you need to shoot around 40-50 percent to be considered a good shooter. The only high volume shooters that have 50% or better percentages are the big men who shoot from within 10 feet for a majorty of thier shots. I know thinking that less than half of your shots going in can be successful, but it is, much like baseball where anyone who hits .300 or better is considered a good hitter when they FAIL to get on base 7 out of 10 times..... Traditionally 40-45 % is a good averaged 45-50% is great for a gaurd/forward, and 50% and up is great for a big man... I apologize my spell checker will not work in this browser..
