I need help, I love Green Lantern but have been out of the loop for about 5 years and a few people have told me that I have to read "Blackest Night"! So is this the best TPB to start with or should I go back a few books!? and if so, which one!?
I love old horror comics, stories about zombies, Dracula, witches, ghosts, pirates and pirate-ghosts (not to be confused with ghost-pirates (ghosts that chose to be pirates) and so I am trying to find more of the darkest, creepiest, and scariest comic books of all time!? I want to hear your thoughts, so please post your choices below! (i.e. tales from the crypt, house of mystery, the walking dead, Creepy, Eerie, Scream (dark horse series))
Ever Wanted a Spiderman Comic signed--by the co-creator of Spider-man!? Well, I am here to tell you very-kindly not to waste your time. Still, feel free to send fan mail, christmas cards etc or buy original art if you can. But he has a "no signing policy". :( Ironically he will write you a short letter (handwritten) telling you this and he signs the letter "S.D." which probably takes more time to do---than it would signing 3 autographs. Ha!
I am saving the letter---but I thought I'd let anyone know who is about to spend a bunch of postage---to save you a little trouble!
I don't get it---Stan Lee always signed for everyone for "FREE" until it stopped him from getting his work done on a daily basis! (I got one for Free about a year ago from Pow entertainment & I paid for one at MegaCon) John Romita Sr, JR JR, Joe Giella, Herb Trimpe, all still sign for fans.
Is Ditko being a jerk to fans? Is he the only one that does not sign!? I would love to hear any and all thoughts below!?
CHUCK DIXON---the creator of Bane! Is going to be making an appearance The last Saturday of this month at ACME Comics near Orlando! that's May 28th, 2011 at Acme Comics http://www.acme-superstore.com/
I wanna hear yours but these are mine 1. Mr. Freeze (Not the one with Schwartzenegger in "Batman & Robin"--The one from the Comics and the Animated Series) because he isn't crazy like most. 2. Catwoman--a highly skilled--"Cat" Burglar 3. Clock King--just a normal guy who is obsessively punctual 4. Clayface ---he is so vain--you can see his character as a caricature of our modern day society. 5. Harley Quinn---just fun and crazy
Alright so I left out plenty----Poison Ivy, Joker, Bane, Ra's Al Ghul, Talia Al Ghul, Penguin, Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Black Mask, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Hugo Strange, The Riddler, Calendar Man, Man-Bat and Two Face (I left out a bunch)----what are yours?
Tell me yours here are mine in no particular order
XMEN 2 Kick Ass Iron Man 2 Hellboy 2 Batman Begins
I know this is not the end all----And I want to hear what everyone else enjoys-----IE The Dark Knight (It's just not my fave!), Thor, Spider Man 2, Iron Man, The Crow, The Rocketeer Ghost Rider (hahaha), Daredevil (HAHAHA!) The last two are definitely JOKES! But if you liked the movies "I'm sorry".
